I'm not emo but I've been very depressed in the past, and some of my best poems have come out of that depression. (btw, all these poems I have copied and pasted from my PoemsandQuotes account ImperfectBliss)
Now I will tell you
What I've done for you:
Fifteen thousand tears
Fourteen thousand scars
Thirteen thousand lithium pills
Twelve thousand screams in the night
Eleven thousand bloodshot eyes
Ten thousand voices in my head
Nine thousand blades on the shelves
Eight thousand nights of fake love
Seven thousand gasps for air
Six thousand mindless days
Five thousand cries of "why?"
Four thousand strange thoughts in my head
And on the count of three,
After all I've done for you,
I shall be gone:
One...
Two...
Three...
Two...
One...
Sweet suicide.
