Well, the powers that be have deliberated this topic extensively, and we have now reached a decision.

We have decided that the time has come for the GWA to close it's hallowed and hollowed doors once and for all. This was not an easy decision to make and we're sad to come to this rather drastic conclusion, but we have decided that it is all for the best.

The Gambino Wrestling Alliance has had a fantastic run, operating longer than any other E-Federation in Gaian history. Not only that, but it was enjoyable, without fights, without drama, and without SERIOUS BUSINESS~!. As I have stated, the GWA existed on the principle that it's a source of recreation, not to be taken too seriously. However, those same guidelines, the same Lebowskian spirit of leisure has, as we all knew it would, become it's downfall.

I know you all overwhelmingly voted for it to stay open. And why shouldn't you? You guys are still having fun, you enjoy writing matches, you enjoy being a part of something, and that's fine. I would like for you to have continued to do so here. However, we have come to the realization that you guys didn't step up to the plate. You couldn't follow up on your words as we are again starved for matches. I know you're going to say it's only been a few days since Chapter II of REED HEER NAO was posted and the option was given, but we've had these announcements sporadically throughout the entire history of the GWA, saying that you need to shape up or we can't keep operating. And, while it's always a good motivation for the next show, the urgency of it wears off rather quickly. The bottom line is: If you were serious about stepping it up and everything that you had said, then we shouldn't have let it get to the point where I would be writing this very sentance.

Then again, I'm sure some of you are serious about stepping it up, and some of you have been for quite some time, but it's not enough. Darson has refused to book on the current number of writers.

To touch on another thing a member of this roster(Kick Boxing Chavo) said, "if ecw can stay afloat with ten guys on the roster then so can we....and there a real fed." That's certainly true. However, ECW sucked Rob Feinstein amounts of c**k and balls when it was only ten people(and a lot of the time). And we have all decided we wouldn't want to see that happen to the GWA, not after all that's happened. It deserves more respect than to just be drawn out and bled to death over a period of months while a scant few scurry desperatly to keep it afloat. That's not what this fed is about.

I've had a lot of fun in the GWA, and I consider you all to be my family. I'll miss this all(except for Cody) very much. But it's time to move on.

Now, here's what's going to happen. We have about four shows left, culminating in a Steel Cage Epic showdown between the Gambino Wrestling Alliance and the Apostles of Amaranthine. So we are dedicating this thread to your suggestions of who you want to face over the next few shows. Since we're going out, we might as well have some fun with it. And who knows? There may be a few surprises along the way. wink *


*Surprises may include, but not necessarily limited to, forced sexual intercourse involving cacti and boxing legend Floyd Patterson.

Since some of you are putting a lot more matches than what is possible I would suggest that if you have some kind of preference about which match you want to do the most you should either put the list in order from most to least or bold the one match you really want so I can try to book that one at the very least.

this is my list of matches i want and/or am/are most likely for me to get.

there are always the want to face some of the big names. Dars, Ice, Killa, So on and so and such, but because of the unlikelyness of that actualy happening i'll just make a list of If you guys where so kind to give me one of these, and only one is needed not to be naggy.

who would i want to face...

Dars- Why, cause Dars has always been the big name, from when i started to know, and i was always wanting to face him, and if he is retireing id like to have that shot before all is to late. So if the Death tank is willing to give up one of his 4 matches to go toe to toe with me. id really take it to heart.

If Jay would be will ing to have a match before GWA is closed, id love to face him.

Id like to have a shot at blade, win or loss, there is minor but still some build behind it.


A IGTT VS Openweight Match title or none title matter not, Hardcore or non hardcore matters not, a nice singles match with Chaos would be interesting.

ID be willing to face Danny in that Hardcore match, though it be more logical for him to face Chaos.. but meh.

a few matches that id be Ok with, but im not exactly All over the idea.
Have a IGTT match with figgy, and a match with lords. Both single normal matches. The match with Figgy id prefure a submission only, Nice technical match im sure would be a good wrtie and read.

EDIT: after thinking about it, Blade VS Hunter actualy has some bacround to it, stealing belt. Blade being last CTC champion im sure i could sell the match.
