I have heard that Wacom is a good brand, but i have absolutely no idea about prices, sizes, quality, compatible programs. I'm thinking of using it for drawing my flash animations, instead of just mousing it. gonk So i guess that means i don't need anything too big? And yeah.. help please? http://www.wacom.com.au/price/price.phpOh and i have flash 8

Well I'll help ya out bud. I have a Wacom, it's a nice little bugger... Mine came with PhotoShop Elements and a few other programs and it don't break easy. Hahah, I can't remember what size it is, though... I don't get it out much (I'm sticking to traditional art for a while) If you like drawing and stuff digitally and using a mouse is a pain in the a**, then a Wacom is a good choice.
I don't know how much mine was, I got it for my b-day last year. But I do recommend 'em. ^^
Oh, and... Mine is about medium size, which is a pretty good size... Anything bigger is obnoxious and anything smaller is, well, just too bloody small.

Awesome. So i guess a 6" x 11" is an alright size then? I'm starting to think this one looks alright, since its got pretty much all i need (i think?) I'm questioning Adobe 'Premiere Elements 2.0' now. Looks like a home film editing package. =/ Plus, from what wiki told me, it was released in '04, and there's a '3.0' version. And i don't know much about Corel either. gonk I just want to be able to use it in flash 8. And it's starting to look like i'll have it for a chrissie present since i'm kinda poor at the moment.

I'm thinking of getting a wacom eventually (I need a job first, lol), but I can definately tell you to avoid the brand Medion. It's a larger and cheaper tablet, but I can't use it at all.

I got a Wacom tablet!!
At Bestbuy.
It's super cool.
Mine was about $80.
They had two of them. The $140 one wasn't much bigger than the $80 so I got it.
It works pretty good. It works better than the thing the UPS man makes you sign.
And I love the program that came with it. It's better than paint. And It's kinda like Photoshop. But I don't know which is better I haven't used PhotoShop very much.
I like it better than Gimp.

I'd recommend a Wacom tablet. I've had mine for 2 years, and used some of my friend's tablets, and I've liked Wacom the most so far.
They are very travel proof 3nodding
