Forgive me if I'm overstepping myself, but I didn't see a place for new members to introduce themselves. I think it would be a good way for guild members to get to know each other. (Old members, of course, should introduce themselves as well, if only for the benefit of us newbies.)
Hello, my name is Aneman333. I am an amatuer writer, with a general focus on fantasy and science fiction. Many of my stories have vampires in them, simply because I find that they are very flexible creatures. An author who uses vampires has a lot of freedom as far as abilities and temperment goes. Sometimes, I write poetry, but not usually. Poetry just isn't something I'm good at.
Okay, that's me in a nutshell. I hope someone else will have the courage to use this forum! mrgreen

Hm.. Interesting.. But if you give too much freedom to vampire's strengths what about their weaknesses?
I make my vampires a bit more humanlike only giving them very limited abilities.
ANYWHO~! Nice to meet you! I'm not an old-old member, not that it's a bad thing, just a new old member, just a tad bit older then you. Just call me Shad. This username was me being bored when I first started out Gaia. -_-
Well.. I think this shows I'm adventerous! Though.. I don't think I'm a reinforcement type. (Those who understand this.. YEAH! Those who don't.. Oh well. )

What I meant was you get to play with a vampire's weaknesses and strengths- I didn't mean just strenghts. I mean, the classic representation doesn't have to be the only representation, right? What it if wasn't sunlight that could kill a vampire, but starlight? Or moonlight? After all, the sun is a star and moonlight is only a dim reflection of sunlight. Also, you can play with different personalities and temperments. The author has freedom to manipulate the characters in whatever way he/she chooses.
The same goes for abstract characters, like representations of Death or Mother Earth, ect. I just like to 'play' with different characters, archetypes, stereotypes, mythological creatures, stuff like that. Writing is, put simply, fun for me.
Anyway, it's nice to meet you, Shad!

sweatdrop I'm feeling bad cause I kinda haven't done much here since I joined.
I'm Psychoslaphead, call me . . . whatever. I be a writer too. I really suck at poetry and all my stories are fantasy, too. I have a few vampires, but my favorites are the arch types. (Darcy! XD) Um, I have a coupla angsty ones (they get beat up a lot. ESPECIALLY since I'm being forced to read this Edward Cullens CRAP!) Mine are pretty human too. I prefer . . . a variety in my stories. I've got a few races I've made up and some normal ones: faeries, homunculi, beasts and others. So I pull RP characters from my stories for personality development and fun. whee

Hi, obviously i'm a writer as well. I mostly focus all of my attention towards poetry and i'm pretty good at it. I have 1 published poem but many others. I'm somewhat working on a fantasy story but it's mostly a side thing. Oh yeah, and call me Tsuki. That's about it.

Heh, you're not the only one.
Any works you've done, post them in the artist section. I would love to read them and maybe even compliment you. (Over 75 percent this will happen.) And maybe I'll give you advice to help improve it. (Over 99 percent this will happen. I'm not a big hotshot or anything, but as my language arts teacher once said, "Writing is never done. There can always be improvements to be made.")

Hello. I am Kyomitsu Hitsuna. I am in several roleplaying guilds and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently a freshman in college which is why it's a little hard for me to post in the newest guilds I've been invited to or have joined. I have a lot of good ideas and I'm just hoping that I'll be able to start my own guild for dedicated oleplays. I have a lot I could say but this will be enough razz .

the problem with gaia is there are way too many rp guilds so a new rp guild has trouble getting more members and members that are active, if u want a rp guild i can give you a job here if you wish so you be a part of this guild
