I thought a neat contest idea would be:
Have a 10 gold entry fee, and have each member of the guild enter their naruto tektek avy, make up an original character that is naruto inspired, and whoever has the best one get the entry fee for that round. Do this once a week or so, and then, at the end of each month, take the three best, and have everyone vote on them in week four of that month, and give them a special prize.
so here's the setup:
3 people pay 10g each to enter in week 1. person 2 wins, gets 30 gold.
5 people pay 10g each to enter in week 2. Person 4 wins, gets 50 gold.
4 people pay 10g each to enter in week 3. Person 1 wins, gets 40 gold.
Person 2 from week 1, person 4 from week 2, and person 1 from week 3 get their winning entry displayed during week 4. Everyone in the guild votes (best way to collect the votes for each month is a new poll, which is added/changed during the week of the final drawing.) Weeks 1-3 will be decided by a panel of judges (the crew would be good for this, so they couldn't enter themselves, of course.) and the final week's winner picked by the guild itself. Then the crew will pull together each month and get a prize, perhaps even donate a cool prize, who knows.
