Juu's Stuffs Tasah had a good idea, so this post is for announcements/status updates/notices/whatever I think needs to live here. Perhaps some background information as well.
As a notice, though you'd pick up on this easily enough, this is the color I will always use when working from Juunara's point of view for the journal, or her speaking. This color is what will be used for Kishi in the same cases. (I'll just have to keep it straight, I have another pet that uses the same color.. sweatdrop )So, I hope that makes things clear. Maybe this will get me off my butt and start posting in here.. though I'm a bit nervous about having a bit of a dearth of direction yet.. sweatdrop Ah well... FORWARD! xd
STATUS!
As you can tell from my sig right now, I have limited internet access. Classes start on the 26th, and I should be able to hit Gaia at least once a day from that point forward, but I will still be a bit limited, I'm afraid. I'm going to try and arrange to have home-internet as quickly as possible, but I'm still taking the time to try and get the best deal I can on it (for those of you who don't pay for your internet, it can take a BIG chunk of change a month). Until I do finally make the arrangements, I will be on as noted. I'll let people know when I'm in the clear. xd

Second Meeting Juunara sleeps, curled up around her down pillow in her room in the inn. Sun shines in through the window, but as she chose a room with an western view, it does not disturb her. Her room is the room next to the corner room, selected because of the deep blue color scheme in the linens. She is probably the latest sleeper in the inn, but is about to receive a rather rude awakening from her newly acquired long-legged, orange alarm clock.A shimmer appears in the room, Kishi's shape slowly fading in, neck stretched toward the ceiling. Once fully solid, she drops a few inches to the floor, and begins to look about the room. Basic inn furnishings of a bed, dresser, lamps, and a nightstand, with a door apparently leading to a bathroom. It was also night when she left the Spirit Realm, so she has to wonder if the day and night in the two locations are reversed, or if it takes a LONG time to shift between. Moving lightly, she steps to the window and noses aside the curtains. The view is of a garden, and her tongue darts out as she thinks of how tasty the vegetables and flowers look. But first, she has a task.
Turning to the bed, her ears flick forward as she examines her Envoker. They had only met each other once before, after all, and though she certainly had chosen her, humans generally look a bit.. different in the Spirit Realm than they do in the material, so she feels justified in looking her over again. The fox ears which had appeared on her head in the Spirit Realm rest instead on the nightstand, accompanied by her tail. It had been one of the signs that had proven to Kishi that she was the appropriate spirit. Little else seems to have changed.. that she can see.
The fox side of her nature helps her decide on how to wake her Envoker to have a proper meeting. Her tongue darts out to wet the tip of her nose an extra bit, just for effect, as she leans forward.A yelp echoes through the room, as Juunara leaps back into the wall her bed rests against, comforter clutched to her chest as she stares over her bed at a pair of laughing amber eyes, one hand scrubbing at the damp spot the dark nose had left on her chest. After a few moments of panic, she recognizes her Spirit Guide, and relaxes for a second, then begins to scowl. "What was that for? I was sleeping!"Kishi snorts, tail twitching as she backs away from the bed, one eye still resting on Juunara. Of course you were. But I want to speak with you, we've taken enough time to get around to it. Surely you've been bored waiting here?Juunara blinks as she hears a soft, whispery voice in her mind. It is the same one that Kishi spoke with while they were in the Spirit Realm, but she is certain that there it was used in a more...out loud manner. She gathers her wits together to respond, "I found it to be more relaxing, though I have yet to meet any of the other Envokers living here. I've been catching up on sleep in here." She waits for a moment, and watches Kishi move about the room, sniffing at the items scattered about. "What exactly do you want us to do?"Kishi pauses, head rising to look at Juunara, tail twitching and ears swivelling. I would suggest conversing at the garden. I'm hungry.Juunara sighs, looking down at herself, rubbing her eyes, still not alert despite her surprising awakening. "Fine, we'll go out there. Give me a few minutes to dress, and deal with my toiletries.. If you're so hungry, you get a headstart, and I'll meet you there once I get some food for myself."Pleased with the suggestion, Kishi nods. Certainly. I expect you shortly. With a final glance back at Juunara, she walks to the window and, to the surprise of her envoker, steps through.Darting to the window, blue comforter still held about her, she rushes to the window, and sees Kishi trotting to the garden, now on the ground, as if nothing unusual occurred. Snorting, she moves away from the window, closes the curtains, and begins to dress. Are all the Spirit Guides quite that... spirited? She hopes she isn't the only one with a guide like that.((As a note.. I AM BSING EVERYTHING. We (those who bought pets) don't really know everything about what our pets are/can do, so... I'm flying blind. sweatdrop If I do something with her which she is absolutely incapable of... let me know, and I'll correct it later. As far as the "phasing through the wall" thing goes, I'm working on the theory that.. well, they're spirits. While in the Spirit Realm, everything is solid to them. While in the Human Lands, they're more spirit-like, as they're just supposed to be guides. They CAN be insubstantial, but they don't have to, so they can interact.... and I just remembered a section I wanted to stick in there, excuse me..))

And A Dozen Plants Cried Out... The garden is truly more amazing at close range. The scent of the flowers and vegetables hangs in thick daylight, insects buzz about happily pollinating, and the dirt is yet drying from the morning's sessions of watering. Tomatoes are in season, a row of the plants on one side of the garden serving as a fence, the plants including normal, cherry, and pear varieties. Strawberries are fiercely attempting to sprawl past the boundaries of their bed, small feelers and minor plants seeking refuge among cucumbers and potatoes. The bees, wasps, hornets and such are more interested in the other side of the garden, where the flowers reside. An arbor, covered in clematis, splits the two sections of the garden.
Kishi stands beneath the arbor, appreciating the shade, deciding which area to sample first, head swinging to first one side, then the other, sniffing delicately to consider which is the most tempting. Giving it up, she chooses to work her way through the vegetables first, as they should be more filling, and finish off with a "desert" of flowers. Resolution in place, she moves to the pear tomato plant. They look so good..Juunara leans back in her chair in the inn, pushing the plate her breakfast had arrived on away from her. Sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash browns, the place knows how to make a nice, hearty breakfast! If she weren't so full already, she would ask them for more sausage.. A small burp, and she decides she has waited long enough to speak to Kishi. She still doesn't know what, precisely, one does once a Spirit Guide is acquired, but has... mild hopes that Kishi has further guidance.
Nodding at the wait staff as she leaves, she steps through the door, and pauses, squinting in the morning light. It has been quite some time since she was awake so early, though it is not a time that most of humanity considers such. Walking around the side of the inn, she pauses, glancing down while trying to remember where Kishi wished to meet. Hm... ah, the garden, that's it! The first day after she was chosen in the Spirit Realm, she explored the whole of the inn and the surroundings, and after discovering it has spent several hours within the garden, admiring it, and occasionally whetting her appetite by filching a strawberry or two. Though it is harder to see, she enjoys visiting it at dusk or after nightfall, because of the dearth of insects--she is the sort who flees at the merest sound of a bee.
Shaking her head, she gathers her thoughts again, and walks to the side of the garden. Approaching it, she notices that the tomato plants look a bit.. barer than yesterday. Perhaps they've been harvested. Reaching the side of the garden, however, where she can see in, she reaches a conclusion which horrifies her. Kishi... has massacred the garden! Some of each fruit and vegetable are left, certainly, but.. she had no idea that so much could fit inside a creature of her size! Juunara looks about frantically, and locates her in the midst of the flower section of the garden, pulling up the bulbs of what she is sure are very valuable iris plants.
She is mortified. Her Spirit Guardian, for whom she probably has some responsibility, has torn up the inn's beautiful garden.. and there is no way she can fix it. In a daze, she walks to a tree at the edge of the field, and sits benath it. Maybe by the time the shock wears off, she'll be able to think of a way to explain this to the innkeeper.Kishi's head pops up as her Envoker leaves the garden, and watches as she walks to a tree, sitting beneath it. With a shiver that serves as a shrug, she returns to digging up bulbs. If Juunara is willing to leave her to finish her meal, she'll take advantage of it. She hasn't tried the roses yet.((And yet again.. I have to tell you that there isn't much information for the owners yet, and yes I AM flying by the seat of my pants, thankyouverymuch. Oh yeah.. as an extra note, about Kishi's behaviour: We don't get them personally in my immediate area (ergo, in a city), but it's not THAT far out to hit areas with lots of deer. Therefore, I know that deer are HELL on gardens, if they can get into them. Vegetable, flower, whatever, they're a bit of a menace to them. And it's not like foxes never raid for food (like the stereotypical "fox in a chicken coop" sort of thing), so it comes from BOTH sides of her.. xd ))
