Uh, I'm pretty sure Hinata thinks of Naruto as her idol, and to be praised by the idol you look up to, will make anyone blush. and if you realy admire someone, you'll be shy from them...
But honestly, Hinata would be happy for the two if they're a couple.

They wouldn't "fight" over him, exactly. I think, if Sakura saw Hinata showing her crush, she wouldn't make a big deal. But she'd show some kind of jealousy.

I don't think Hinata would have the guts to fight over him, even confess. If Naruto and Sakura started getting feelings for each other, she would probably do nothing but be depressed.

i think something might happen.
also sakura would probably be very protective of naruto soo... most likely she'll fight.
Hinata... might back down the minute sakura tries to fight (if she will) OR fight until she's done based on her match with neji.
But now thinking about it, if Sakura "takes" naruto and they fall in love, maybe Hinata will go for someone else. I don't think Hinata would fight over Naruto, but then again you never know what they'll do. so maybe, or maybe not.

Hinata has no guts to fight and sakura has no reason because she already has Naruto draping over her heart heart
If Hinata ever starts to annoy Sakura in any way she could just get her self and Naruto way from her. I know Naruto would pick sakura over Hinata any day.
