Hey guys:
I was just accepted to this guild, and was very excited to find a RP section. I've had this RP idea for awhile now; it was especially excentuated by a thread in the General Discussion entitled, "What if Frieza had spared Planet Vegeta?" I would like to try this out and see where it goes. Below is the introduction; the second post will be rules and other information. I hope you join; I think this'll be a lot of fun! Please let me know after I post the rules and info. Thanks!
Come one, come all, to the capital of the illustrious Saiyan empire, Saiyan City! Here, one can bask in the glory that is the Royal Palace; here, one can communicate with the most well-renown members of any and all societies; here, all are accepted! Step inside and see our booming economy, our hardy and disciplined laborers, and our advanced architecture and technology! You shall be amazed by the grandeur that surrounds you. Upon entering this fortress, you will become someone else; it will change you! So, come one, come all, to this place of strength and order, and be transformed!
Now, if you, a wanderer, read this sign and smiled at such a warm welcome, then you must have spent your life under a rock. Saiyan City is malicious and merciless, and will tear you to pieces if you allow it. How convenient it is that the citizens of this metropolis aren’t mentioned at all; it’s as if they nailed this sign to the entrance to lure unsuspecting, naïve fools like yourself inside, where they will systematically antagonize you, violate the most sacred of your traditions, and then kill you for thrills, laughing all the while! Take this warning to heart, no matter who you are, traveler or returning citizen; you only get once chance here. Your occupation, social standing, and connections mean absolutely nothing. So, idiot, will you enter, or will you shy away? Only power, raw, brutal power, counts here, so you better have some on tap.

'Ello there, all! As I said in the previous post, I'm going to list the rules and other information now.
Rules:
1. Please keep the TOS in mind at all times. Although I am open-minded and pretty much lenient, the TOS is law here.
2. Cursing is allowed. You will be RP-ing as rowdy aliens, after all. wink
3. Original characters are awesome, and I definitely would like some in the plot. If you do want to introduce your original character, please post the information in this format in the thread:
Name:
Race: (if not Saiyan, please explain)
Age:
Physical looks:
Personality:
4. If you get into any out-of-character arguments, please keep them outside of the thread. I do not want to have to report anyone to the mod.
5. OOC conversations are fine, but this is a RP thread. If you would like to talk OOC, please put them in parantheses. Don't overdo it!
6. Keep the netspeak and abbreviations to a minimum. Also, correct spelling and grammar are a must. EDIT AS OF 12/8/09: Please be literate. You don't have to write paragraph after paragraph (unless you really want to), but please make sure that you contribute at least 3 lines to each RP post.
7. Please PM me if you have any side-plotlines that you think would work well with the main plot (once it get off the ground, that is).
8. Lastly, have fun!
Information: I would like this to be an open-ended RP, as in, we do not have every minute detail set out. Basically, we have a setting (Saiyan City, Planet Vegeta), and we'll have characters. After that, we'll discuss in the thread for some time (including canon characters), and then the RP will start! Here's the character list:

I would love to be in this rp, but i'm not that good at making up a character, so mine may not be very glorius in description. However i do make up great pltos nd twist in the story lines.

OMG posters! biggrin I posted this, like, my second day on Gaia back in '07. xd
@ Chipmunk: That's totally cool. You don't have to have an OC; you can be any of the canon Saiyans and the canon aliens (like the Ginyu Force) if you please. If you can explain how any Earthlings got into Saiyan City, that'd be fine too. smile
@ Prince Marik: As long as you can juggle having more than one character, it's fine to have both a series character and an OC. Please make sure to differentiate between characters through font color, though. smile

Yay, more replies! Okay, I'm updating some of the earlier posts, so please check them out.
Also, if you're interested, please PM me an application for which character you'd like to be. If you stated it here in the thread, I would still like an application, just for file-keeping.
@ Ash: Was your username different before? I received a PM from someone with the username ZAM111 or something similar, and he wanted to be Vegeta. Was that you?

Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't been replying. I took a hiatus from Gaia for awhile due to school work. Luckily it's almost winter break so I don't have to worry about school now. biggrin
@ Goku 2 Rules: Just checking, but I'm assuming you want to be Goku?
@ Cheshire: I'm sorry, Ash already asked. It's first come first serve. There are other characters open, though! Of course you can make an OC. I don't mind relatives to the Prince. ;D
