I was just wondering how you guys overcome the hardships of drawing hands? I used to make a rectangular restrictive line around where I wanted to draw the hand and that kept them from getting too big but lately it seems that I'm just getting worse at drawing hands. No matter what I do. crying Help!

Aranel Anira grrr, I hate drawing lines and stuff. Thats just an a** on the eraser. gonk I know but the 'construction' lines do help! Practice with a harder lead like 2H or something to help keep those sketchy lines light then use a softer lead for your finished lines (also known as 'object' lines in technical drawings.) I also find tools like an erasing shield (a thin metal plate with different shaped holes) and a stick type eraser helps a lot. If all else fails, try using tracing paper so you don't have all that erasing to do once you're done.

Yeah but then you finish with pen and what not.
What pen do you use? Is there some special paper that I don't know about!! All this is sooooo confusing!!! >_<

I don't use a pen actually. I'm too scared I'll wreck the pencil sketch! Almost all of my inking is done digitally. sweatdrop
Special paper? Not really though tracing paper comes in handy sometimes!
