So, I'm currently working on a pair of Knee High fishnet stockings. The pattern is from the book "Knitting Lingerie Style" by McGowen-Michael. I just turned the heel for the first one last night. They are worked from the toe up.

The yarn is Lorna's Laces, Shepard Sock in Black Watch color way.

I will post pictures later, after I get some work done. smile

I unfortuantly just learned that there was an errata to the pattern in the book, ... yeah. I will be ripping and starting over. crying

so I'm working on my pattern to make a cozie for my Travel coffee mug.. one that is interchangable between my 2 fav mugs.

I am making it out of my own Handspun, I measured my gauge and it "appears" to be 5 stitches an inch in st on sz us3 (3.25 mm) needles.

wish me luck! weee I will post some pictures as soon as I have something.

I just finished the two hats I was making as Christmas presents, so now I'm back to working on my kimono sweater, and the slythern scarf for my roommate, once I get the yarn.

Right now, I'm working on a pair of fingerless mitts that will be a Christmas present for my brother. I'm a little disappointed with the way they came out. I think I could have chosen a better yarn. The one I picked is a little dense and probably would have made a better scarf or hat.

I also have a Twisted Tweed sock on the needles, but one of my needles snapped in half (Brittany Birch size 0), so I have to wait until I can get a replacement set. If I can't get those before I finish the fingerless mitts, then I'll probably cast on for a scarf, or I'll get back to another pair of socks that had been frogged a billion times due to pooling.

What kind of yarn did you use for the Slytherin Scarf, KNN?

Oh, please just call me nina. One thing I didn't think about when I chose this username was how hard it is to find a decent nickname. sweatdrop

The yarn is Reynolds Utopia. It's soft, relativly inexpensive, and, being acrylic, it's also water-resistant (good for travel in Europe), washable, and warm.

I'm almost finished with my arm warmers! Made some outstanding progress on Christmas with my second one. I then need to get some blue fun yarn and knit my friend a pair and ship them off to Maine! xd
