Dress up like your favorite character from one of the top 100 banned books (link to the list here). Judging will be done on the guild in a separate thread in this forum called "Avatar contest". I'll start that thread one week before the guild meeting, so that will be up next saturday, the 8th of September. You'll have to post a short how-do (and an explanation if you'd like) with your avie dressed up by September 14th. I'll collect all the entries in the first post of said thread, for ease of viewing. From there we can Role Play as our characters.
IMPORTANT:
All entries must be posted by the 14th. Please don't change your avie until the contest is over on the 15th. Give us a short description of your character, the book they appear in and anything else you feel is important.
OK, with that said, I'll be posting the prizes in this post (as an edit) later this week when I have them all assembled.
EDIT: Since I was slow, I'm giving everyone the extra time through the end of the day on Friday the 14th to post their entries. That means that it's open through friday.

Hey all. I'm Leslie Burke from "Bridge to Terabithia."
I'm in fifth grade, a bit of a tomboy, and delight in being outgoing and creative. My best friend is Jesse Aarons whom I beat in a "boys only" race. Being an only child and new to the school it's hard to fit in. However the two of us end up discovering a spot in the woods near our homes and create the wonderful, yet imaginary kingdom of Terabithia.
Yet in all good stories there are hardships and each of us must overcome them. To find out about Jesse becoming more comfortable with himself and his artistic abilities and me and my untimely demised, read our story.

I like my anthropomorphic avies best. They did a pretty sweet job with the Superior Form this month.
