Just a few things to know about roleplaying. This is for anyone that doesn't know how, or doesn't roleplay often.

OoC means = out of character, normally used to talk as yourself, not your character. Shown by using (()) most of the time
IC means = in character. Just your person talking or acting normally *cough*

Most people use "..." when they are talking, and nothing when they are not. But some people use *...* for actions, and nothing for speaking. Either is fine, but some people prefer others to use quotes.


When typing, many people use third person, not first,
Ex:
Walking through the doors of the haven, Blaze turned suddenly. She thought she heard a noice, but for the house was empty, she knew she was hearing things.

This seems easier for others to read, but again, user preferance rules.


Many threads require a form filled out. This mostly includes your characters name, your user name, age, race, a short bio, appearance(picture or description), weapons, and anything else important to that thread.

Edit 1:
Don't worry about typing alot. You don't have to type alot to be saying alot. Many people can get across what they want with just a line or two. Don't get overwhelmed by typing dozens of lines trying to say something. If you want to be discriptive, some rpers like that because it gives them something to read. But don't do to much in one post when you are already talking to someone. This can get them confused, and you can lose track of what you are doing. (let me know if this doesn't make since, I'm just typing away here.)

Blaze jumped around. She was so happy. "I can't believe this! I can't believe this!" she looked around, ready to burst from pride. She settled down and started to breath. "Almost lost my breath there." She shook her hair out and sat back to relax.
