I spelled wound right, right? sweatdrop
Anyway I am curious... does anyone remeber thier first culinary wound? Or maybe the most interesting?
Mine happened last year. This very annoying stupid co-worker of mine got underneath of me while I was getting cookies out of the deck oven, grabbed the other sheet pan of them causing his sheet pan to run against my arm. I got a 2nd degree burn from his stupidity... but I think the scar is pretty, lol

I don't remember the first.. but I remember one that sticks out in my head. An older couple that I'm friends with who are both chefs have all these crazy cooking gadgets and stuff in their kitchen. One thing is a toaster from roughly 1910.. we were using it to make toast one morning and I reached over for the butter and BAM, burned the hell out of the back of my hand. Since it's rather primitive toaster tech.. the -whole- thing heats up, not just the coils inside.. man did that hurt.

I can't remember my first one but I can remember my last...ouch! crying I sliced my finger with a really sharp knife. I was cutting an onion, and my finger slipped, causing me to slice into it until the knife was stopped by the bone. It bled a ridiculous amount. I got 4 stitches and the pain...argh! Arff, I'm so smart... redface

i was cutting onions for my mom and ì had tears in my eyes. the onion was round so my knife slipped and i cut my finger pretty bad....it went though my ring fingernail and cut a bit through my skin. XP well its been years since the incident and it healed really nicely, but if you look extremely close, you can see a really light scar under my nail. its pretty cool and hardly noticeable.

I was 8, and I was cooking scrambled eggs, and I burnt myself on the pan. My most interesting one was when I was cutting potatoes, and sliced my finger open. I could see all the veins pulsing with blood, and actually, I wasn't bleeding that much.
