(I couldn't help it!) Heya! I'm doing my part to try to help the guild stay as on-topic as posssible, so i've decided to contribute by making a thread for the current leading cause of off-topicness here: D.Gray-Man! Yes, this is the place where we can talk about it as much as we want and not feel like we're getting off-topic! Tsuki-chan had wanted to make a subforum a few weeks ago but I think it slipped bot our minds. sweatdrop Oh well.

So, I've been wanting to ask everyone. How did you get into D. Gray-man? Here is Tsuki's boring-a** story:
So, about a year ago I saw a picture of Allen that someone had in their signature. Allen looked so awesome in that picture. <3 I still have it saved on my computer.
Through some random way that I forget, I found out that Allen was in a series called D. Gray-man. I went to Borders a little later on and found the first volume. I read the first twenty pages or so, and decided I didn't like it because it seemed religious. (Deeply-religious people and things are my pet peeve.)
Then for some reason I was watching the first episode on Youtube. I don't really know why I was watching it if I decided I didn't like the manga. o_<
I came across the scene where the Millenium Earl offered to bring the guy's fiancee to life, in the first episode. The part where he was saying, "Happy birthday, happy birthday.." had me hooked.

First of all - the second I saw that picture, I dropped everything and just gaped.
I can't even stand how pretty it is.
Is it Idea!? I can't find any scans of Idea's DGM doujinshi, and I WANNA READ THEM! T_______T
I got into DGM... ********, I really don't remember. o.o
I think I kept hearing about it and seeing pictures from it, and eventually I was like "I might as well check it out".
To tell you the truth, I found the first volume kind of sub-par. It took me MONTHS to finally read the second one, but once I did, I was totally in love with it.
... I'm going to go search for Idea Doujin Scans. I can't handle not reading them now...

I have no idea, I just keep finding it on photobucket and going 'OMG I want it!', you are free to take this copy of it, seeing as it no longer really belongs to anyone, but other than that, I don't know anything about it.
And...I can't exactly remember. It might have began during my younger years as an otaku,when I had a copy of the old Anime Invasion,or it might also have began when me and my cousin were talking about it.
Also, I found volume 1 sub-par myself, but, as with all things I am destined to become obsessed with, (My old DBZ obsession namely, god I could nerd up a room with that) I wanted to know more, which led me to find about the works before it titled 'Bookman' and...I can't remember the other right now, just know that one has Allens original style and name in it. (Robin I think)
(and FMA...don't get me started, that, like the DBZ one, goes past the anime)

I've just got one, to Idea's site, where they store their frightening flash videos. I watched all the FmA ones a long time ago, but at least I was PREPARED for those, seeing as I've actually read all their FmA doujins.

And I'm going to post it here, because this is the DGM sticky, and if other people like Yuu x Lavi buttsecks, they can go there too, I guess.
