I don't like horror. It's all way too fake and I'd rather laugh about it than run in fear or something.

True, some horror are extremely fake.. Good ones are those that're thrillers at the same time.. Can't think of any right now, though

Ack A guild full of haters of my favorite movie genre.

I can tink of NOTHING better than sitting down and watching a movioe that scares me, I love being scared or on the edge of my seat so to speak.

I also get a kick out of old B horror movies like the black and White ones from the '50's.

One of the better movies lately- In the last 20 years or so there hasn't really been any decent horror movies.

Like i was saying a recent diamond in the Rough- The Descent. Didn't get great reviews but i loved it. Absolutely LOVED IT. I havent been that involved in a movie in a while.

lol with me its like when a movie is on...(my brother does like to watch a horror movie once in a while) i just wnat to see the end of it...even though i cant really care...
so i've watched almost the entire descent because i could not walk away...
and all the blood and gore and missery in those films just doesnt appeal to me... lol this prolly sounds stupid but i geuss i care to much for the players to just see them die without a good reason

blair witch is indeed really scary...
i've seen that one...i really liked that one...not because of the good scare but more because it actually has somewhat of a realism in it...
and its filmed great...

i've heard that the actors were not aware of the fact that they were making this movie...they were surposed to make a documtry about the so called blair witch...and the village people were hired by the director...they told made up stories.... and the crew hang all those stuff in the trees and shaked their tent...and made those sounds outside of the tent...that is also why it looks so real...the only thing that wasn't real was the ending...but the actors really thought there was a witch in that forrest that wanted them out xp
pretty daring if you ask me... xp

I usually want the characters to live in my movies, what's the point of having everyone die that you enjoy. But sometimes it has to happen. In the Descent, Our lead girl had to die. She committed a huge sin in movie guidlines- she had a choice, forgive her whory best friend for sleeping with her dead husband or even not forgive her and let it slide. But the path she took made her no better than Juno. Hence the ending. Monsters usually die and she turned into a monster.
