MC's are the monthly collectibles you get from gaia for donating each month

since so far as far as seen nothing can do with only cash dont think its big deal cant convert gold to cash Seen other sites do same thing offer people willing to spend money to support site a quick way to get things. Personally think great idea it helps the site to raise money and helps people with money willing to spend to get more expensive stuff quickly with less effort. Especially some of the highly riced items. More voluntary ways the site can come up with to raise money the better the site will be for everyone. If things can do with only cash in future maybe they will allow users to sell it in marketplace.

Looking at the trend of online gaming communities, there are tons of 'idiots' who are only more than willing to utilize their real world currency to beautify themselves in the virtual world or to give themselves an advantage in the game. Many online games are cashing in on the concept to increase their profits instead of relying on a pay to play model that was utilized heavily before.
Judging things from a personal perspective, it is too much of a waste to throw in money for these virtual items. However, when looking at the same phenomenon in the context of the virtual world 'Second Life', the same act may not be such a ridiculous idea. Many people have utilized it to earn large sums of real world profit from it.

Well, in Second Life, as you mentioned, you can get the money in real life if it reaches a certain amount without even using money in real life. If only gaia works the same way, I'll have a few bucks from gaia for having a certain amout of gold if I needed real currency.

I don't mind spending $10 or $20 a month on gaia. I love this site and I dont mind putting a few bucks in to help keep it running. I don't understand how some people can spend over $100 each month...especially the ones that dish out $500 per month surprised
