Wow, I haven't been posting in waaay too long. I like the new forums set-up, I just don't want to have to get used to it. I'm pleased that they have yet to change the guild forums to that, however, since I just wouldn't know what to do with myself if they had. D:
What do you guys think?

I would like it fine... but it seems like the topic review box at the bottom is built way bigger than my screen can accomodate it now. It's a pain in the a** for RP's, I can tell you.
Other than that, I suppose it's okay. Don't really see the need to change, but whatev.

Getting used to it is the hard part. I don't dislike it, but I think I preferred the old way just because I was used to it.

Yeah. I agree with Magentian, I don't see why things needed to be changed. I miss it because I was used to it -- ever since 2003. It was always the original Gaia layout, it seems like. Now it stretches my screen (which is odd, especially considering my 1240x800 resolution). @__@

We'll probably get used to the new layout soon, so I don't see the problem. :chew on fibre bar:

Kinda sucks for people with small screens, though.
My mom has a teeny-tiny monitor, and now Gaia in general is just... elephantine. XD
I'm lucky to have bought my own computer a few months ago... but I pity da fools who are stuck with large, old, clunky monitors, because now the site's pretty much inaccessible to them.

Solution: Step #1: adjust the resolution. Step #2: get a magnifying glass!

I have a feeling that staring at a computer monitor long enough with a magnifying glass would burn one's retinas.. o_o;

XD Like the thing with anthills, only in reverse?
I always wanted to try that... but I'm not mean enough to do it. XD

I think an anti-UV near-sight lens of the same power should be able to cancel the burning effect confused Or you can double reflect the image with the help of two mirror, creating an effect similar to that of a projector.
So complicated xd

So complicated xd I've killed a few ants, and rollie-pollies (the ones that roll into a ball) with a magnifying glass. Oh, and some leaves! <3 The rollie-pollies pop when they burn, and it seems horrible. ;x
