Has anyone tried to accomplish the Excaliber II quest. I still haven't been able to complete this quest for the EII. Out of all the sidequests in all the series up to FFXII, this is the only thing that I have never accomplished. If any of you have recieved the EII then let me know how it is. I know it's not worth it though...what with all the stuff you miss because of the quest.

Nope, never even tried. I couldn't possibly avoid getting sidetracked. I'd be thinking, 'Well... A few Chocographs couldn't hurt. And I've gotta do the card tournament. And how could I possibly not do my best to give all the Moogles their mail? And what about...'
...Yeah, no chance.

i think you have to do this whole long thing about playing and finding what you need to get and then turning the game off and going directly there, without saving at all to save as much time on the game as possible. you need like, 2 memorie cards for it so you don't loose any information. seem simpossible to me (i get too side tracked)

Agreed! Wait! What if I came up with a contest based on getting the Excaliber II...nah, I think it's hard to get any proof of someone actually gettting it...unless they took a pic of it after receiving it. Yeah, that would be awsome. I would give like...15k as a prize.

I got the excalibur II.... you just have to check the column on the right on the platform right before you go to the end battle.. I beat the game in what?.. 20 hours? But it is only a time limit to get the sword. You have to do some major planning before you attempt to get it though..
