Its a kak long name, but in the time it takes you to say its full name its probably reached 60mph, or something close too it. At the moment, I haven't done much to the car, had it about a day or two now but I can tell you it pulls. Its a 1500 chasis with a 2L Twin cam Alfa motor, standard with two twin carbs. Its one thursty little monster.

The paint work seems to have been done reciently. Aparently there's a story that the guys who designed the car, mixed the paint up first and then designed the GT Junior to fit the colour. lol
Well today, my dad and I ripped out the interor and scraped out some of the surface rust, and we've just finished patching the first hole by the pedals. I guess I would've had to drive it flinstones style if the hole got bigger. sweatdrop

My Mom used to drive a 66 Bel Air, the passenger side had this hole about the size of a cassette tape. Well, one day on my way to work, just going along, a bird tried to play chicken with the car... it didn't make it. The bird broke its neck when it cut up too short and hit that hole...right where my foot was. That was a weird day. I've got a few more years on my current car before I can do any work to it. Sucks.

Oi sweatdrop What kind of car do you drive?
This little Alfa doesn't like the rain. It protested today, and wouldn't go to the classic car show, it decided to stop practically two thirds of the way there. After a talk with it, it started up and we went home. :/ I'm finding more and more things to work on it every time I drive it. Oh dear. The clutch pedal or the clutch itself is going to need replacing, as it seems to be slipping and slipping badly.

Hey Geoff! You drive a Smart? SWEET! I'm glad those are coming to the US in 2008!
By the way, nice Alfa. Sorry about all the problems it's having, though. Sometimes in times like this there's only one word that'll fix all your car troubles: OVERHAUL!
...even though overhauls are expensive. sweatdrop
I like the Alfa RZ the best out of all the Alfa Romeos, and the 164's are nice too.

Oops, can't say that smart car is mine I'm afraid. That picture was taken at a friends house. Its actually my friends car, which we cause alot of s**t in. As you can see it has a soft top roof, which, when open on a summer day is perfect to salute people out of and wistle at random girls and such. We've had loads of fun in that little guy. 3nodding
The Alfa I bought as a project car, so it was expected that there would be problems. But its got loads of potential I think. After the rust is sorted, and its gone in to fix its current problems, there should only be a couple of minor things to fix here and there.

The clutch pedal or the clutch itself is going to need replacing, as it seems to be slipping and slipping badly. I drive a 2005 Chevy Malibu. I don't get too many problems out of it. People usually cause the problems. My little brother tor up my rear driver-side door panel. ******** up my leather bad. Then my sis rear-ended someone in it one time. But other than that, its a great car. I did have this one, however, that would not run well in temps over 80 degrees. Now, I live in Texas, if it gets to 80, I'm wearing jackets. It also had a crunched in fuel tank(late night after work and drunk assholes). I ended up backing into a rock attempting to run from the drunk assholes I just insulted, flipped off and broke some window with flying rocks. There was just one of me and fifteen of them. Hell no! I ran, and screwed up my car to boot. WHen I bought it, it had a busted cylinder, so I ras running on 7 cylinders instead of 8. It still hauled a**.

I haven't done much to the car since I last posted. But the brakes have now gone! So...looks like my father and I have another job to put on the list. We've decided to pull the engine out and send that off to get its leak fixed. While that happens we're going to take out the brake and clutch master cylinders and have those re-conditioned. During that time I want to replace the brake lines, and as much of the plumbing as possible. Hopefully when the motor gets back, we can have it tuned up and finally get the suspension fixed! In other news, I found loads of goodies to fill my xmas wish list. However if I totaled the cost of all these parts they would come to four times what I payed for my car. HAHA. I probably won't get some of those bits, unless I felt it could help me compete against my friends new car. Since thats doubtfull I think I'll just leave it for now. Parts like the Alfaholics Fast Road Suspension Kit have caught my attention. And I think its pretty important that I get that kit or something similar. Kit contents

Let me show my ignorance on Alfa's for a moment. Is the kit that you are looking at just a normal suspension, or does it lower the car or give a performance boost? I know jack squat about Alfa's. I'm more into the Japanese imports. Let me know.

yeah its a performance upgrade if you will. Though its still suitable to use on the road. It should lower the car an inch or two and offer a stiffer ride with the stiffer springs, also the rear sway bar they're including is beefier than some of the stock sway bars found on my kind of alfa. My car is a tad to old to have a stock sway bar, so I'll be winning out quite a bit with this kit. It'll probably be a little while till I can get my hands on a kit like that. I do want to build up the brakes and suspension before I do much more to the motor. On that note, I found a set of wheels that could look pretty good on my car. Racing Hart RH108s.
Quoted me at about 5k for wheels and 195/50/15 tires. Which isn't too bad, considernig they wanted 8k for a different set which I don't like half as much. Now get this, they're designed for a truck, SUV O_o

Those rims looks sweet. But RacingHart always makes good looking rims. I thought the price was high, but then I remembered that you don't live in the states. Thats one, perhaps the only one, benifit from living in the states. Parts are sometimes cheaper.

Though I think for a car like mine its best I bought it here. Though if I was in the states I would be running a S14 Nissan or an EG6 Civic, those would be easy to make fast with the part availability there.

Yeah, Civic parts have really flooded the market. The S14 Sylvia just really started getting popular here in the last few years. About when the drift scene hit. It sucks that it took a type of race to make a car popular. I guess it always happens that way.

If everyone is trying to get thier S14s sideways and yours handles like its on rails then its easy to pass them.
