The latest addition to the Soul Calibur series: Hilde von Krowne...at least that's what wikipedia said her name was 3nodding In German, her name would be pronounced just like 'Hilda', with an A. Not 'Hild', or 'Heeld' or anything silly like that. Her last name, though, would sound like 'fone kroafna'... weird... Either way, wikipedia tells me that she's Ukrainian. Her fighting style says 'Guroosu Erubushafuto', which sounds like the Engrish for 'Gross Elbshaft'... 'Gross' means great or big, but I dunno what 'Elbshaft' is s'posed to mean. ...ranting... 3nodding

I dunno...she looks a little bland when compared to other SC characters. Something about her screams "generic" to me.

Oh, and regarding her fighting style name: "Elbschaft" is not a word. "Erbschaft", however, is; it means "inheritance". Also, "groß" does indeed mean "big" or "large"; however, it can also mean "great", which I think makes more sense here. Basically, it's safe to say that "Große Erbschaft" means something along the lines of "Great Inheritance".

And they actually put the right ending on 'große'!
