I am unleashing my latest creation upon the world. It is a darker, more sinister relative of the Chatterbox. The Rantbox.

What's it for? Ranting. This is where you post all your fustrations, your angers, and perhaps...perhaps somebody will respond, kindly or otherwise.

Discard your manners at the door. That way, you can relieve stress more effectively.

BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only real rule for the Rantbox. If you're insulted by a fellow guildmate here, please don't hold it against them. When you're ranting, it's REALLY easy to offend people. In other words, the Rantbox gives you an acceptable excuse to yell at each other. razz

To kick it off, I'm going to shoot off four rants...from least to greatest.

1. Marjask! Alex! That was very rude of you! In BKT! I said that if you wanted me to handle your TFs, you needed to tell me. I waited quite some time, and you posted. You never told me. Pleased by this, I thanked everyone by saying it was generous for them to handle their own TFs. No sooner had I said this, when Alex goes and tells me what TFs he doesn't want me to impose on him! Then Marjask does!! Immediately after I thank them, they go and do the opposite of what I was thanking them for! That's not nice!

2. Riku, why did you let YawyD and DR1 die? I told you to introduce conflict, but...you didn't.

2. May! Kiroku! Whyyyy did you leeeaaaave!?! WHYYYY!!??!? You two had so much potential...I could tell that you were getting bored without the Individual RP subforum...but if you were going to leave, WHY'D YOU HAVE TO DO IT RIGHT BEFORE THE SUBFORUM WAS MADE!?!

1. Ooh...this makes my blood boil...Gaia Admins! Gaia was once an excellent site to me...it was simple. That meant that I could load pages quickly, even with my inferior dial-up home computer. All the other sites were getting fancy make-overs that made them rather unpleasant in that regard...

Then you did it too. If Gaia was like wading through ankle-deep water, then, now it's like being up to my waist in pudding, with a bear-trap on each ankle, with each being chained to the ground!!!! You just HAD to make a fancy little header, didn't you? Well, WHAT GOOD IS A HEADER, IF I HAVE TO SPEND TEN TIMES AS LONG STARING AT IT AND WAITING FOR THE PAGE TO LOAD!?!?! When the page does load, I have to wait about half a minute...before the scroll bar'll even respond!! And THEN, when I try to post my message, THE TEXT DOESN'T APPEAR UNTIL HALF A MINUTE AFTER I STOP TYPING!!!

Now, I find it rather hard to enjoy all my precious roleplaying...since I have to stop and wait about ten minutes between each post, it's real hard to stay focused on the RP. ROLEPLAYING IS BECOMING LESS FUN, AND BECOMING MORE LIKE WORK!!! WORK!!! Often, the only thing that kept me here was the fact that my guild needed me...

Then, you decided to test an "upgrade" for the marketplace...I tried it, and IT LAGS EVEN MORE!!! Once you replace the old one completely, I won't be able to use the MP anymore, and thus, won't have a practical means of getting items cheaply and improving my avatar...

I dread to think...what if guilds are next? What if they nerf guilds? Then...will I have any choice but to leave?

Topping it all off...I can't do a thing about it! You have a whole stickied thread dedicated to giving input on the new layout, and I've posted on it once or twice. I've posted all over the help forums...AND YOU'VE COMPLETELY IGNORED ME!!!

Argh! I had to get that off my chest.

Thanks, and sorry. You're right. I need to cool off a bit. I understand exactly what you're saying, and will act as such. I guess I was a bit extreme there.

Er, wow. I guess I have no idea what number 4 was about, because I came after the change? That much of a difference, eh?
