Along with 3 new characters there was two new movies released during TGS. The first of the movies is a CC2 confrence that talks about a few things including info about .hack//G.U. Trilogy. The Second of the 2 movies is the best one a teaser trailer that was shown during TGS. Apparently I was wrong about it being a remake I think its actually a twist on the story judging from the teaser. Recently they released 2 new trailers. Here are links to the movies.

.hack//Trilogy
Hiroshi "Piros" Matsuyama the maker of the .hack series has announced a new 80 minute straight to DVD CG movie to come out on January 25 2008 in a HD and Blue Ray format. No news has been realeased as to wether its coming out in America or not. It will retell the story of the G.U. . More news about it will be announced at The Tokyo Game Show which is September 25-28 I believe. Here is a picture of Haseo in amazing CG. Will come with a parody mode which hasnt been seen since the japanese version of the first .hack game series. Limited Edition will include a Color .hack//G.U. World Guide

Omigosh! That picture is one of the hottest things I've ever seen and I hate Haseo! O_O So it is true that any animated character looks better in CG. >.>

Who translated all the other .hack//s? Maybe we can all email begging them to translate.
It worked for One Piece and Naruto. Why not for .hack//?

Are you talking about dubbing or just using subtitles? But anyways, we can't just jump to conclusions that they aren't going to bring it to america at all. We have all of the other games and animes, so why would they leave this one out?
