With Fall and Winter coming up quickly I was wondering if anyone had any good receipes for stews or casserole dishes. I'm not looking for gourmet dishes just the plain, simple but oh so filling dishes..When I was growing up my Mom used to make Beef Stew..easy enough dish to make..I'll post it if anyone is interested...She would make this with Bisquick dumplings. Yummy! I'm already drooling thinking about it..My receipe is very close to hers and it goes over well in my home.. But back to the point..Do you have a great receipe that you would like to share? Please do..I would love to get some new ones and I bet others would too.
There's nothing like have one of these kind of dishes after an afternoon of shoveling snow.
Happy posting smile

I love my crockpot for things like this. I'll see what recipes I can dig out.
I don't check this forum often, so I didn't see this.. redface
