Hideki came to Viridian City and only had the Pokemon Center in mind. Aki was injured and all he cared about was getting her all better. He still had her in his arms and carried her all the way to the Center. Nurse Joy looked at him and Aki; she didn't have a kind smile across her face. She took Aki and went to the back of the center and in a very short time came back. She had the usual Nurse Joy smile and stated that Aki wasn't terribly injured. She suspected that he was a tough trainer and gave some advice.
"When you train your pokemon it may be best to carry around potions to heal them; especially if you plan on traveling far from a Pokemon Center." She smiled and Chansey waved as Aki and Hideki walked out of there. Hideki took Nurse Joy's advice and decided to get some potions. He bought five and handed the clerk the money and walked out. Aki was walking beside Hideki as they continued down to Route Two.

Mimi headed straight for the Pokemon Center, which she found by looking at her map. She was only interested in finding the center and the PokeMart, because there were no other sights to see for trainers in that city. There was the Viridian Gym, but after talking to a few people around the city, Mimi learned that the gym was locked and it's leader had been away for quite some time.
As she was about to enter the Pokemon center, a young man was just leaving it. He was nearly a foot taller than her with a dark appearance. He had with him a Vulpix. She stepped aside to let him out, and her eyes followed his back as he continued on, not acknowledging her at all. But Bulbasaur, not wanting her to pay the other trainer any mind, tugged on his trainer's arm with one of his vines. Mimi looked down at him, and suddenly remembered why they were there.
"Oh right, let's get you healed up," she said as she entered the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy was waiting behind the counter inside and smiled when Mimi approached her. Nurse Joy was a sweet woman too, and kindly took Bulbasaur's pokeball after Mimi returned Bulby to it. The ball was placed on a machine for a few seconds before Joy handed it back to her.
"There, all healed," Nurse Joy said.
"Really, that's all?" Mimi asked. Nurse Joy nodded and explained the machine was a quick, new way to heal tired Pokemon without any serious injuries. Mimi thanked Nurse Joy and released Bulbasaur again before leaving. They stopped in the PokeMart to pick up some supplies while they were in town - five extra pokeballs, one potion, and two antidotes. Once they were all stocked up, Mimi and Bubly headed on to route 2.

Aisumaru walked into Viridian City, looking around. The place was a lot bigger than Pallet town, yes, but it really didn't seem to be anything special. He decided to let both his pokemon rest in their pokeballs for a while longer before being healed. Flora, he knew, much preferred the inside of her pokeball to being handled by a person she was not familiar with. He tripped as he started to head towards the gym, finding another potion on the ground. He stared at it for a moment, and deciding that it was the loss of whoever dropped it, he picked it up and tucked it in the medicine area of his bag next to another of his potions.
Aisumaru continued the walk slowly, enjoying the gentle breeze and warm sunlight. He knocked on the door of the gym, before trying the door, wanting to see what the inside of a gym was like. To his disappointment, the door was locked. He wasn't going to give up that easily though, he then glanced inside a window of the gym, looking at the strange arrow patterns on the ground in utter confusion. Deciding that he had seen enough of the gym, he slid down the ledge the gym was built on, heading to the pokemart with slight intrest after his free sample.
He skimmed over the merchandise that was being offered. For now, he would be set on pokeballs until he reached Pewter City, if he needed some, he could buy some there. He was pretty sure that he would not be seeing many fire, ice, or electric pokemon this early into his journey, those were rather rare and he seriously doubted that he could find enough to inflict a status condition on any of his pokemon. On the way to Pewter City, there would be more poison and bug types than anything, and that being the case, it would be unsafe for any grass types to live there. He was thankful that Flora was part poison, and Mistral should have no issues going through that forest. He finally decided on just one more potion, giving him a total of three, and two antidotes. He paid the 500 P, then placing potion and antidotes in his medicine pocket, headed for the pokemon center.
Finally, he got his pokemon healed at the pokemon center, seeing in amazement that they healed the pokemon incredibly quickly, and in their pokeballs. He decided that the Pokemon center could be his first stop from then on, there was no need to worry about Flora's caution around strangers...and everything for that matter. He mumbled a "thank you" to the Nurse, then continued onto Route 2.

((Hey! Aisumaru's in the new banner thing! ...AWESOME! Haha, Hideki and Aisumaru seem ready to eat/kill me, and Mimi's all smiley....))
Aisumaru's first stop this time around was to the Pokemon center. The Nurse Joy quickly and happily healed Flora and Mistral, despite his unenthusiastic attempt at gratitude the day prior. With another monotonous and mumbled "Thank you," Aisumaru left the pokemon center, Flora and Mistral walking energetically at his side.
The next time they stopped, it was to the grocery store, where Aisumaru picked up some whole-wheat flour and some more food supplies and vitamin supplements. (Eh...not the happy-fying kind, just to add some nutrition to the pokefood. Can't have Flora going blind!) After they left there, Aisumaru deemed them ready to go through the forest as far as supplies were concerned. That was enough to get Flora happy-the knowledge that they would be safe. After that, Aisumaru noted that they needed more training, getting Mistral hyped up, and the wonderful weather really lifted all of their spirits. Mistral and Flora joyously accompanied Aisumaru onto Route 2 once more, Flora walking with a slight hop in her step and Mistral practically fluttering about.

Hideki passed route two and had entered Viridian City, it was his second time. He wondered if it was his last. It didn't matter that much, he was planning on taking the league or the gyms.
"Right got to get the center!" He said reminding of himself so he wouldn't get carried away and do something else. He quickly walked in and was greeted by Nurse Joy, who recognized him. She smiled and he handed her his pokemon, she took them and placed them on a machine. Instantly they became healed and she gave them back. Chansey jumped for joy beside her, he thought it ironic how these pokemon were just like the nurses, but then again his Vulpix was just like him. He nodded and said thanks and Nurse Joy and Chansey replied to his gratitude. He was about to walk about but then his stomach released an angry roar. he hadn't eaten at all yesterday, and everything so far has made him totally forgotten about eating. He grabbed his stomach, for it hurt and he was so hungry he couldn't move very much. He sat down and continue to comfort his hungry stomach.
"Oh my!" He heard Nurse Joy yell and she ran into the back. Only a couple minutes later and she brought out a giant plate of food for him. It was mixed vegetables, rice, and some grilled fish. All foods that were on the food pyramid. He should've known Nurse Joy would have some food for wondering trainers.
"It isn't much but here take it." She said with a smile, he reached in his bag to pull out his wallet.
"No I can't charge you, it wouldn't feel right." She said and she ran back to the counter for some trainers had came in. He ate the food very quickly and all of it was gone, even though he didn't like vegetables. He left a note saying his thanks and quickly ran out before she brought more to shove down his throat. As he walked back to the Forest his stomach ached for he had eaten so much so quickly. He grabbed his sides getting a major cramp. He was thankful for her kindness though, she helped him a lot, and he felt somewhat bad he couldn't repay her.

Mimi emerged from Route 2, heading south for the Pokemon Center she had been to before she left for the Viridian Forest the first time. As she reached the sliding glass doors, she suddenly recalled that this very spot was where she had first bumped into Hideki. Mimi half-expected to be bumped into by the tall dark boy once again. But, as she entered the center, she was kind of disappointed that no such thing had happened. She sighed to herself, and wondered why she was even thinking about it.
Mimi forced herself to shrug off the thoughts, and went up to the counter where Nurse Joy was waiting. She placed her pokeballs all on a tray and handed it to the pink-haired nurse. Nurse Joy took it, kindly as ever and, within a few moments, returned the tray with Mimi's newly healed Pokemon. Mimi thanked Nurse Joy and placed the pokeballs back into her bag, leaving the Pokemon center and once again heading back into the Viridian Forest.

Nomaa walked into the City, looking around at how much bigger it was than her hometown of Pallet. Charmander looked up at her, stopping as she did, though his eyes did not travel off of her the whole time she stood there and simply stared at the gradneur around her. Granted, it was not even the biggest city in Kanto, but as of now, it was the largest she had ever seen.
"Char," Charmander said suddenly, butting her calf with his head. It seemed that Nomaa awoke from a trance, looking down at him and scooping him up in her arms, giving him a small snuggle.
"I think we should make a stop by the Pokemon Center first. You fought so hard on our way here you deserve a little rest," she said with a smile, cradling Charmander in her arms as she walked towards the Pokemon Center in the middle of town. She strolled along at a leisurely pace, humming a soft song to herself, to which Charmander began to offer his own rendition with a well placed "Char" and "Charmander."
The sound of opening automatic doors caused the two of them to cease their little duet and walk into the Pokemon Center which was crowded with people. Unsure of what to really do, Nomaa picked her way through the crowd over to the counter where Nurse Joy stood, smiling pleasantly out at her.
"Hello! Welcome to the Pokemon Center. My name is Nurse Joy. What can I help you with," she asked with a smile as she leaned over the counter towards Nomaa. Immediately, Nomaa felt welcome in the building, as she set Charmander down on the counter and returned him to his pokeball. Pulling out her other two, she pushed the three pokeball towards the woman.
"My pokemon just need a little rest," she said with a smile, letting her long blue hair down from it's ponytail to fall about her shoulders. While her pokemon were getting taken care of, she might as well get some rest too so they could keep going. According to her map, the Viridian Forest was next on their little journey, and she had heard many stories about it that made her want to be prepared. Joy took the pokeballs from her and disappeared into the backroom, leaving Nomaa to herself and the rest of the strangers around. Nomaa had no sooner sat down when Nurse Joy came walking back out from the back with her Pokeballs on a tray, signaling for her to come over.
"There we go! All better," she said, setting the tray down in front of a bewildered Nomaa. For some reason she had thought that it was going to take a lot longer than a few moments, but she was not complaining. As long as they were in tip top shape, then she was ready to get going. After all, if she hurried she would be able to make it through the forest before Dark. Taking the pokemon from the woman and giving her a pleasant smile, Nomaa walked out of the pokemon center, clipping the pokeballs to her belt as they were before. She always did like to be organized.
Walking back out into the streets, she looked over to the Pokemart, standing still for a moment before she decided that she might as well go on in. Walking inside she looked around at all the things that she could purchase from the store, wondering what it would be best to spend her money on. Immediately, she headed over to where the pokeballs were kept. At this point, she only had 3 left, and she wanted to make sure she was going to be able to capture any pokemon she came across. Grabbing 5 more, she then turned around and walked into the medicine section. Looking around for a moment, she grabbed one Paralyz Heal, and one Antidote before walking up to the counter and placing all the merchandise down carefully.
"The total comes to P1400," the clerk said as he looked at her from across the counter. Pulling out her money pouch, Nomaa counted out the exact change and handed it to the man, taking all the merchandise and placing it in her bag with a thanks to the man before bounding out of the store and back into the streets once more. She would have to find a way to earn some more money before too long.
With that out of the way, Nomaa turned her sights on Viridian Forest. As she walked, she reached the outskirts of the town, looking back at the city she was leaving behind once more. As she turned to walk out once more, however, something strange caught her eye. Walking over to a bush, she looked around for a moment before happening upon a potion nestled in the branches. Picking it up, she looked around, but there was no one who would have dropped it. So, rather than doing the right thing and turning it in somewhere, Nomaa tucked it into her bad with the rest of her medicinal items before turning and heading to Route 2 and Viridian Forest beyond.

Nomaa entered Viridian City once more from the forest, looking around at the people before her. Immediately, she headed into the Pokemon Center, walking straight up to the counter and placing her pokeballs on the tray provided with a pleasant wave at Nurse Joy. It had not been too long before that she had been in this very same situation, but at any rate it was better to take care of her pokemon now than get into trouble later in the forest. Besides, she could spend the night here and head out in the morning. The sun was already beginning to dip down behind the horizon. It would be safer for her to sleep here and leave first thing in the morning.
Nurse Joy took the pokeballs, and after a moment gave them back to Nomaa, who thanked her and then turned, walking over to one of the couches and sitting down. Around her, she could see a few other traveling trainers getting ready for sleep as well, which made her feel a little less awkward of not knowing anyone. Releasing Charmander, she unclipped her pokeballs from her belt and stuck them in her bag, which she laid on the couch next to her. Charmander curled up next to her, nuzzling her arm with his head as the two of them laid down for a well deserved rest. It was early to be sleeping, even for Nomaa's standards, but the first day of her pokemon journey had been a jam packed one. It felt like one of the longest days of her life...and yet it was one she would never forget.
"We are doing great Charmander," she muttered before slipping into a light sleep, her words trailing off into a peaceful sigh.
As the first light of the morning made it's way through the windows, Nomaa awoke, Charmander sleeping peacefully on her stomach and chest. She moved him around with her arms, though he woke up in the process, yawning and rubbing his eyes as she sat him down on the couch next to her as she looked through the windows. It looked like it was going to be a perfect day, and she could not wait to get started. After thanking Nurse Joy for everything once more, she disappeared through the sliding glass doors and once more headed into Viridian Forest.

Natsuko and Bloo walked into Viridian City, heading straight for the pokemon center. She had been here a few times before when her Mom had to meet with some clients, but everytime she got here the differences from Pallet astounded her. Walking through the sliding glass doors, Nat walked straight up to the counter, handing her pokemon over to a pleasant Nurse Joy who healed them and brought Bloo's pokeball back to her, good as new. With her pokemon healed, she walked out, taking in the sunshine pouring down over her. Tucking her hands in her pockets, Nat walked over towards the Pokemart, where she had said she wold visit upon taking the sample from the woman on the way here. If she was one thing, Natsuko Hakubi was a girl of her word.
Walking in, she looked around at the various merchandise she could purchase, finally decided on a batch of pokeballs (6), another potion, and an antidote. Walking over to the counter, she placed her purchases on the counter as the man totalled up her ticket. It might be a little more than she wanted to spend, but she needed to start stocking up on these items if she was going to make it very long without a pokemon center.
"Your total comes to P1600," the man at the counter said with a smile, as Natsuko pulled the money out of her bag and handed it over to him. After getting her change, she took her merchandise and replaced it in her bag before turning and heading out the sliding glass doors into the streets once more. She took a deep breath, wondering if she should stay here for the night or head on to Route 2 and sleep on the road.

Being new to the Kanto Region, Piper had never seen any of these towns and cities before. Viridian City was only a short ways away from Pallet Town, but it seemed like another decade of technology and civilization. Pallet Town only had a few houses and buildings, where Viridian City was loaded with businesses and people rushing around trying to get to their daily routines. Behind the Pokemon Center, 5 or 6 boys were gathered around 2 other who seemed to be battling. Piper was new to the whole pokemon thing, so she decided to go to the Pokemon Center. As she walked in, many people were sitting and talking in chairs at the side of the building. Mnay of them were older and looked more experienced than Piper. She went up to the counter where a lady in a nurse's hat was standing.
"I'm Nurse Joy," the lady said, "would you like to heal your pokemon?"
Piper nodded and handed her both of her pokeballs. In no time at all, Nurse Joy handed Piper Pidgey and Sparkle back and she was off. Piper remembered the man who asked her to visit the PokeMart, so she decided to go there next. It was a lot like the Pokemon Center on the outside, only blue. Inside, the walls were lined with glass shelves holding a variety of pokemon merchandise. She grabbed 2 pokeballs, a potion, and an antidote, remembering that Viridian Forest wasn't too far away. After she handed the cashier P900, she walked out of the PokeMart and faced toward Route 2.

Day 1 - 11:56 A.M.
Viridian City Pokemon Center
"Your Charmander is fully healed." Nurse Joy smiled. Charmander, who was sitting on the Pokemon Center counter, chowed down on a piece of Charcoal.
"Thanks, Nurse Joy." Red said, motioning for Charmander to hop down, who consented.
"By the way, Red. I got a message from Professor Oak." the Pokemon Nurse suddenly remembered. "He told me that he sent a package for you, and that you should go pick it up at the Pokemart."
"Really? Gee, thanks!" Red started for the door. "See you later!"
"Hope to see you again!" Nurse Joy called.
"You will, when I come back for my eighth badge!"

"Finally made it!"
After stumbling around hopelessly for almost an hour, Red haphazardly walked into the Pokemart, Charmander right behind.
"Hey, you come from Pallet Town?" the clerk asked.
"Yeah," Red answered.
"Great. I got this package that's probably for you...is your name...Joshua?" the clerk adjusted his glasses, peering at a box on the counter.
"Uh, no. I'm Red. Red Jackson." Red sweatdropped.
"Oh, I have a package for you, too." the clerk rummaged behind the counter and brought up a much larger package, about the size of a normal suitcase.
"Joy..." Red muttered.
"Charmander!"
Red sat down on one of the benches placed along the wall and started to open the box, but he noticed a letter on the top. He ripped it open. Out popped a letter and a picture. Red looked at the letter first.
"Honey, you forgot all your adventuring stuff at home! I know you were in a big hurry to set off, but this was just reckless! I put all your things in here. Green and the boys also pitched in their money and bought you a tent, but you left too fast! Maybe you should learn to slow down. Anyways, I hope you have a great journey! Write soon! -Mom." The picture showed Red's mother, Green, Professor Oak, and his grandchildren , Blue (also known as Ocean), Yellow (also known as Thunder,), and Daisy.
Red smiled and opened the half-wrapped box. It was filled to the brim with packing peanuts. Red sighed. Green must have packed it. Looking around, Red spotted a table and sat down at it, and unpacked the box. The contents were...

After a few tries, Red finally managed to get everything in his backpack, with room left for items. Realizing that he needed items badly, Red walked back to the counter.
"Hmm...Can I have...three Potions, five Antidotes, and five Paralyze Heals?"
"Sure. That comes to a total of... P2400."
Red handed the clerk the money and headed out the door. Just as he got out...
GROWL....
"Heheh." Red smiled, glancing at Charmander. "I guess I'm a little hungry..." The Fire Pokemon's belly gave a small gurgle as well. "That settles it." Red glanced at his watch. "1:28." Looking the the right, he spotted a noodle shop. "Sweet ramen!" he cried, hightailing it into the store, but getting beat to the counter by Charmander, who pointed at a plate of soba.
"One Soba and one Ramen, please!" Red yelled, leaning over the counter.
"Coming right up!" The chef called.
"Oi!!!" yelled all the staff.

"Let's eat!" Red clapped his hands together in prayer and dug into his plate of ramen as Charmander glomped down her soba.

Billy entered the Viridian City limits as he finally came up with a nickname for his new Pidgey. "Jet is a good name, huh? Strong yet gentle. I guess." Pidgey didn't respond and that only increased his urgency to find a pokemon center. Since he took his eyes off of the road ahead of him, he tripped over an item laying on the path. Falling on his knees, the new trainer turned and found that he had tripped over a potion lying in the road. He picked up and put it in his bag, saving it for later.
A little while later, Billy found the entrance to an important red building. He walked through the sliding doors and a Chansey slid behind him, grabbing his pokeballs. "Hey! What's going on?" yelped Billy as the pokemon took his pokemon and brought them to the back room. Evidently, this was standard procedure, as no one else looked surprised at all. The Chansey returned and handed the pokeballs to him. Billy didn't bother giving a thank you as he headed through Viridian, heading for its infamous forest.

Billy returned to Viridian City after his short training session and made his way back to the Pokemon Center. He entered the pokemon hospital and handed his three pokemon over to Nurse Joy, who healed them in no time. After thanking her and leaving the establishment, he headed over to the pokemart. There, he picked out an antidote and a pokeball. He brought them to the front counter, where the clerk responded "300 dollars." Billy forked over the money and left with his new purchases. Now he was ready to head back to training.

Izzy had only one thought as she walked into the City get Fiery and Pluto to the Pokemon Center She saw that Fiery was walking slower than usual and picked her up. Izzy speedily walked into the Pokemon Center carrying her Growlithe. Nurse Joy Smiled and took the Growlithe "Wait" Izzy called as Nurse Joy turned to take Fiery to be healed. Izzy un clipped Pluto's Pokeball and handed it to Nurse Joy Nurse Joy took the 2 Pokemon to the back of the place and healed them. She came back with the 2 Pokemon (Pluto still in his Pokeball) and said cheerily "they weren't badly injured and have been fully healed." She waved goodbye as Izzy leftIzzy called "Pluto GO!" and looked over her 2 Pokemon. "OK well I think we should go to Viridian Forest and train there for awhile. What do you say?" Fiery Purred in agreement and looked at Pluto to see what he thought. Pluto Chirped in happiness and flew into the air landing on Izzy's shoulder. Izzy smiled and walked northwards talking excitedly with her chirping and purring Pokemon.
