I really hate it, when ppl don't see the point or what the lyrics in a song mean, and then there are those people who are like "Oh great music, but your christian?" What is so wrong with that? I mean do I need to whack you guys upside the head to think straight? I see those comments all the time under christian music videos on youtube. Including Family Force 5 ! That makes me ANGRY!!! D:

It might not be exactly what you think (but I wouldn't doubt it). It could be the fact that most christian bands suck major balls. you would not believe some of the crap I've heard. It might have something to do with these kids have no real talent but they think god will bestow them with the power to spread his message. Wrong-o. God would have have already given that gift to you if he wanted you to be a musician for him. You suck, get over it. but do they listen? No, they just scream "Blasphemy!" and tell I'm going to go to hell because I don't think about Jesus every single waking second of my life.

All my friends really like FF5 but they really don't think they are Christian. You really need to listen to the lyrics to understand that they are Christian but some songs don't really seem that way. Ex: Earthquake

In an interview Soulglow once said that Yes, they are Christians, and any moment that they get to share Christ with someone they will...but Family Force 5 is mainly about music. So they do have some songs like Replace me that are clearly Christian and then others like Earthquake that are just...music.
I hate it when I'm listening to screamo like The Devil Wears Prada...and then my mom is like "this is Christian??? It sounds like the Devil music!" Its not about the beat or sound..its about the words!!!!!! My mom loves FF5 =P

Yeah, I totally get what you're saying. My mom freaked out the first time I listened to Underoath. I hate people who think that all Christian music is like Gospel because it isn't. It used to be, but now it's way different. They've got rock, punk rock, screamo, rap, and everything else non-Christian music has.

i think it's really great that an awesome band like family force 5 is christian. it makes me sad though that when people hear that they're like "whoa well i can't like them anymore, they're a christian band, they're trying to get me to convert!" i went to a show one time and near the end of the set they were talking about how they rock our for jesus and all that stuff and some people actually gave them disgusted looks and walked out of the concert

Thankyou all.
Actually you guys all saw it my way! ^_^ It makes me happy to hear that their are people who understand vs.people who just listen to whatever-and ,hear something to criticize it.
Here are a bunch of really cool funny awesome Christian Bands for some to look into;just check em' out they are awesome.
Newsboys ,GRITS, MXPX ,Relient K, Skillet ,Barlow girl(mostly girls only for them ,Toby mac ,and lots more
@CaptinBaconman:I know what you mean ,I have people judge me like that everyday.Some people think I am this bully punk ,though once they get to know me they know i act the way i do to protect my friends and myself who are picked on.As well as that i am a very religious person. heart
To me what I like best is the singer/writer's perspective of the lyrics ,I meant no harm C:
