Okay, bear with me; this is my first time creating an RPG. Please follow Gaia TOS and the rules written for the Durem RPGs. Only post role play here, every other posts need to be submitted in the memo board. If this RPG turns out excellent, I plan to turn it into a story to add to my vast collection of over 200+ stories on my fan fiction account, which can be found here. If you have any questions, please PM me. This is a literate RP which means posts longer then one sentence, and no text talk/chat speak.

heart (can't think of a title)

Through out her Miami otaku life, Delaney’s parents have always told her to snap out of fiction and into reality. After all, her parents didn’t have much of a fun and exciting imagination; her father a NASA engineer and her mother a highly prized and expensive attorney. Then there was her prodigy younger brother, Arlen, who was born as boring as the color white. Being home tutored and secluded away from the youth of her age, all Delaney had was her Siamese cat Jing-Jing, an online pen pal named Sirius (screen name: Sir Sushi) and her vast collection of anime figurines, DVDs, plushies and her manga collection that puts the government’s library of US patents to shame.

But all that is about to change when one afternoon she stumbles onto a website that promises to bring your fantasies to life. With a single click, Delaney’s life is changed. With each DVD placed in her computer for otaku viewing pleasures, her life becomes excitingly full of characters who become as real as she. Can she handle all this alone? And how can she kep this a secret from her ever so unimaginative parents?

Background: Oldest of two children to an attorney mother and engineer father. Younger brother is a prodigy and an annoying brat. She is home tutored by the best tutor her parent’s can buy and her home is on a private beach away from the rest of society preventing her from finding friends outside of her bedroom computer. Just finishing tenth grade education in her dining room two weeks ago, Delaney is not looking forward to yet another summer trapped inside her parent’s ten foot property wall having to deal with her genius-bratty brother, Arlen.
Personality:Delaney is full of life and the biggest otaku in Miami. Anime is her life. She lives, breaths and eats anime (Well, Pocky and Ramune). Her goal in life is to one day find a way to escape the world her parents have custom ordered for her and become a free-lance artist. Her walls are covered in artwork from quick sketches and doodles, to museum quality work; that is if it wasn’t anime. Her best friend lives somewhere out in cyber space known as Sir Sushi. They’ve been IMing for the past three years.
