Ok, so we all had pretty much the same sitiuation. If we wanna fit in a certain group you just do whatever is "IN" or find someone with similar interests. Say that you know a certain topic quite well. As a matter of fact much more then anyone in the group. But it seems like no one could care less.
My example? I'm going to be true and blue here but I'm having the same problem with certain CLAMP fans here on Gaia. I'm not trying to insult or be rude to anyone. But whenever I jump into convos about TRC or CLAMP my post seems to be ignored. I have personally read all the recent chapters toward TRC and xXxHolic. I may have not read as many CLAMP books as you all like X/1999 or Tokyo Babylon. But goddammit I have had my share of CLAMP books I've read. Maybe I don't have grand therioes or enthusiam towards the next book but I do like to join into conversations.
I can't help but feel I'm being rejected to fellow fans. Maybe it might just be me. Seeing that I'm not as devoted as most fans are anymore. But either way it feels a bit like I'm being left out. I've been a fan for about the past 5 years. Again I do admit I haven't read as much CLAMP books as you all but I've had my share.
Sometimes it even feels like the n00b posts gets more attention then mines. sad
