burning_eyes seriously,i hate how completely inconciderate Bella is being to Edward throughout Eclipse!I just got reading 'Chapter 23: Monster';the chapter where Bella realizes she loves Jacob,too and kisses him back,and seriously,i almost got so pissed off at her that i threw the book!i love the story for the most part but Bella and Jacob are driving me crazy!First, i hated Jacob for being such a jerk to Edward but now im complely and utterly infuriated with Bella!!!!I just want to know,honestly,am i gonna be able to finish this book without throwing it across the room?!Please answer my question without spoiling what will happen.

I understand where you are coming from.
I got really angry in that part too since I am not the biggest fan of Jacob (Nobody Kill me gonk )
But I got through the book, and I think you will too..without throwing the book .. hopefully. I wasn't very satisfied with the ending but those we're diffrent reasons from the ones you are talking about.

Actually, my favorite part of the book was the epilogue since I hate Jacob so much, you'll see why. mrgreen And I threw the book a few times myself, and pretty much want to track down Bella a kill her. I hate her and that hate has been growing steadily for a while now. I wish that Stephenie could have made a more likable protagonist since Bella's killing the series.

I probably wouldn't ever like Bella in real life that much, but come on, she was acting like any other human would.
I know, you'll all start yelling at me with "I WOULDN'T DO THAT!!!", I know, most people wouldn't.
I used to hate Jacob SOOO MUCH I wanted to just beat him up with a crowbar. But after I read Eclipse again, I realized that his uncalled for actions did make sense. Come on guys, at heart he's only about sixteen or seventeen.
It's really strange how I used to hate Rosalie and Jacob to the depths of the ocean, but I changed. I like Rosalie now, and Jacob is pretty interesting and I do prefer him to Edward. (Although I like Jasper and Emmet just as much as I do Jacob and Rosalie)
Regarding the epilogue, I feel horrible for Jacob. What's going to happen to him afterwards?
And Bella...yeah well I never liked her that much but she is human, and most humans aren't as do-goody as Edward (who, by the way, seems to be everything a girl wants rolleyes UGH). Yes, she was acted off disgusting impulses, but she is the heroine. Even if she isn't that great a role model. rolleyes
To rap things up, I dislike Bella, but I still root for her in the end.

i personaly feel the worst for Edward. i mean he tries everything to make Bella happy. EVERYTHING. but bella just keeps using him and being a complete selfish piss off. and i hate jacob because of how prejudice he is. honestly the main reason im still reading is for Edward ((who btw isnt every girls dream alone but also every bisexual guys dream! ^-^))

Edward is soo understanding.... or not, maybe he's just nice...
I hated bella for a while but then I just felt really sorry for her...
And Jacob is evil and imature and awesome, some how. His predjudice is really annoying because you just wish that he could look past it. I actually did throw the book, and my friend picked it up and got hooked in the story instantly. That says something.

i used to think bella was all kewlio and stuffvs, but now shes acting all mary sue ish! i hate it!!!
she made edward stay with her *trying not to post spoilers*
and through the whole book she just constantly loathing herself and being all 'my life is soooo terrible!' i just wanted to smack upside the head! aig;aosjhiokghgkisdhg;iohasdhsdpgh!!! *slow breaths* but ill get over it... i think...

scream Omg! I agree totally. Edward is my favourite character. In Eclipse i think Jacob ruined it. It just made me so damn mad. Lik how selfish can Bella get? God. Lol, i threw the book many times. Lol.

I still like all three of 'em. Bella is obviously madly in love with Edward, but like what Edward said in the book, when he left, Jacob was there for her. They spent so much time together, and then she grew to love him. It's not impossible to love two people at the same time, is it? Bella kinda-sorta was selfish, though. But she's only eighteen, you can't really blame her.
