There's an issue with the dice/random number system in guilds, so as much as we'd like to keep the Gruumar RP branch going in Archanum, we're unable to.
That is, unless we can figure out an alternative...
The way I see it, we have a few options:
1. Continue the Gruumar RP without using dice for Gruumar's special abilities.
2. Use an external thread to manage the dice rolls and just link to each corresponding dice roll for referrence.
3. Put Gruumar on hold until Gaia fixes the issue.
Option 1 would rely on the excellent RP skills of our members to decide (fairly) when and if Gruumar's special abilities are successful. Basically, whoever is RPing with Gruumar would see it use a special ability and based on the information in the bio for that NPC they can "wing it".
Option 2 would be the most fair, but would create a little extra work for us crew, but would keep the Gruumar NPC as true to the original intent of its character as possible. Whoever is RPing with Gruumar would be responsible for following the link provided in each of Gruumar's posts to check the dice results and RP from that accordingly.
Option 3 would probably be the least desired option, since there would be no way of knowing when the problem would be fixed, if ever. Thus Gruumar would probably end up being removed from the Realm and a new quest-like NPC introduced which would not rely on dice.
So please submit your feedback, vote on which option you think would be best and reply with any additional suggestions you may have. Thanks!

Retaining my perpetual pessimism, I vote for the second option, and will point out all of the flaws with the first. To start, I'm not sure that all of our members can handle RPing Gruumar without godmoding with their own characters. I've been in too many RPs that have died because of a similar problem (never declare an NPC vs. NPC fight). Second, for Kisuke's hat's sake, (I'm wearing mine right now xd ) two seperate groups are fighting Gruumar in two seperate threads, without even acknowledging each other. Thirdly, repairing the damage done by an out-of-control Gruumar would be far more work than rolling the dice, ourselves.

Well, since nobody else seems to have an opinion, I'm going with option 2.

No it's not. Someone posted invalid RP saying Gruumar did this and that (when no it didn't do any of that). Look for posts from "Shattered Thrall" and make sure it's the most recent. It's currently in the "Sialis: Short distance from the edge of the city" thread.

Zahth {{okay I have to ask this before posting. If dice rolling for jsut Grummar or is it fo everyone doing anything?}} I deleted that post, but to answer your question it's just for Gruumar (and possibly other future quest NPCs), please check the Gruumar character bio and the post in OOC for additional information about it.
