I've only watched the dub for this one, so I don't know the original names. So, I'll skip that bit and get right to the plot.
What's a young girl to do when she moves to a new town, only to accidentally unleash an invasion of ghosts and haunted creatures, and discovering her mother was the one that'd trapped them all in the first place?
Easy, gather a group of fearless (yeah right,) cunning (yeah right,) pre-teens and stop the invasion one ghost at a time. All that with the half-hearted help of the one demon that wants the invasion to end, if only because he's now trapped in the body of a cat.
If you've never watched this series, go for it. Supernatural's nothing compared to it. And some episodes, like the ghost runner or the haunted building cases are quite scary.
Tho, if you're one of these people who thinks scary = cliche gore, then nope, you won't find anything like that in this one (there's almost no blood in this show, and most of the blood shown is for comic relief, believe it or not.)

oh, i've seen this... its not really that scary, unless you have a piano in your room, which i do, and the episode i saw just HAD to be on the story of a cursed piano!!!
my friends were all shocked when i told them one of the episodes and they couldn't sleep the whole night -___-!!! (it wasn't actually THAT scary you know xp ) it was jsut a medium scary one...
my friends are such cowards rolleyes
so you haven't seen it??? well... over here, it finished a few months ago cry , i was so sad when it ended... T.T!!!
the ending of the first season is REALLY good tho... (well, at least in my opinion)

Best episodes are the sprinter ghost, the radio ghost and the ghost building...
Oh, and the final episode, of course.

... There's no spoiler. The demon Amanojaku was sealed accidentally by Satsuki into the body of her pet cat, Kaya. Since he hated being in a cat, he half-heartedly helped the kids seal all the ghosts, knowing that, in the end, he'd be sealed as well, but preferring that to living in a cat's body forever.
Oh, of course, there were many other fun episodes... Like the snow ghost, or the railroad ghost. I'm lucky here, they're gonna show a special with all the episodes next sunday.

The special was saturday and sunday. Watched all the episodes again yesterday (it's scarier when you watch it all in one go. You're not out of one freaking out moment when you get another...)
And damn, I didn't remember how good the mirror world episode was. "Maybe the world behind the mirror is the real one, and the one we live in is the copy.... But we may never know, mrow!"
Hands down, Kaya/Amanojaku is the best character of the show.
