Mizuki sat down quietly behind the desk, running her hands across the smooth wood of it. She looked up around the room, it was simple. A sandy color on the walls and a tannish carpet. All the furniture was wooden, a dark wood probably from the village hidden in the trees. She bite her lip slightly her stomach turning. Perhaps she should have eaten breakfast, nay, she never ate breakfast. Her black eyes scanned the room slowly and stopped at a window towards the east. She stood slowly and walked towards it, her hand running across the textured walls of the room. She opened the curtain slightly, it was still early the sun wasn't out. She pulled them back her full figure peering out from the tower towards the ground below. She could tell this would be her favorite spot from now on. She could see everything, the people, the homes, even the town well. She shuddered slightly grabbing her arm.
"I'm cold."
She gasped at the sound of her voice, the room had been so quiet, and now her ears were ringing from the sudden sound. She went back to the big chair, and sat down. She had better start working, or face the consequences.

"My Lord!" A young man runs into the room, holding some papers and a book. "Your going to be late to be sworn in if we don't hurry!" He is Kurokawa Masato, but everyone calls him Rob around the village.

Mizuki looked up slightly startled at the sound of another human being.
"Lord, I don't like that word..."
Her voice was quiet and she stood slowly her robes swaying slightly.
"And where will the ceremony be? I hope its not far...I would hate for my robe to become dirty..."
Her voice drifted off as it usually did and she looked at him with her dark black eyes.
"I have work to do. I cant stay too long."
Mizuki sighed softly and gathers the papers on her desk into a neat pile. She looked out the window once more before drawing the curtains and turning to him.

"Well, if you don't want to get dirty, i could always carry you there!" his voice was cheerful yet teasing at the same time. He loved to mess with his lord, even when she hated him calling her that.

Hina peeks through the door way, shyly, wondering if she should intrude. "I'm sorry milady, but i just wanted to see your office. Is it true you can see the whole village from here??" Her voice grew loader and more excited as she spoke. Her child-like features lit up at the thought of seeing the full village from a hawk's eye view. It sounded like a beautiful landscape to sketch. "Oh, but you'll be in the ceremony shortly so I'll come by later when your not so busy, i suppose."

Mizuki looked at her advisor softly.
"Must you insist that word? I don't very much like it.."
She sighed softly, he really wouldn't listen to her. he didn't listen when she wasn't Kage, he wasn't going to listen now. She looked up and saw the young girl and pointed towards the window.
"Yes, from there...I presume of course that your going to be joing the academy soon, Ms. Hina. Yous hould really do your best to go to the correct floor for the papers...second floor, not eighth..."
She slowly walked towards the window and opened it again gazing out at the rolling sand past the village. The sun was begining to shine now. She should be heading out.
"Kuro...you do intend to follow me to the Statues...do you not? Because if so, we should be heading out soon..."
She pointed out the window.
"The people are...gathering."
She shuddered softly.

"That they are ma'am..." He leans over to whisper something " Who's that girl, shes beautiful..."
'over-thoughts' Rob and Mizuki were always friends. Rob was always able to find a was to annoy her, strangely she hung out with him anyway. Rob was worried that Mizuki would become boring now that she was Kage, he always knew her to be cheery and playful...Maybe thats why He chose to stay around... ' end over-thoughts'

Hina smiles at the Kage cheerfully. "My father has already registered me, milady. I'm to start as soon as possible. I only wanted to see your new office and the view I had heard so much of."
She glances quickly at the young man next to the Kage, then flashes a smile toward him. "Hello! Do you serve Lady Mizuki?" Hina slowly inches into the room and stands waiting near the entryway.
