Okay, so, like, I've heard rumors around the mill that CLAMP had, somewhere, sometime, someplace, finally broken down and announced Fai and Kuro as cannon. I've never actually seen the posts or the articles or anything, so this is why I'm asking (also because I've got a purple-haired fanatic breathing down my back, and if I don't find out she won't give me my hugs).
If anyone knows, or has access to that sort of stuff, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you, and good day. ^_^

I haven't read anything like that, but it does appear that they are a canon pairing especially since the Tokyo arc..And in the most recent chapter, Kurogane cut off an arm to save Fai. I think it is safe to assume they are canon.

Exactly, it's like they're pushing it... I just remember reading something about it on a Tsubasa thread HERE, and I can't find it! It's killing me.
And somewhere on the net, chapter 167 is out, because there are stories about it on fanfiction.net! I am on a quest to find it!

It looks like Clamp is pushing DouWata as well... Especially with the most recent chapters of that... well.. Not the last one.. But some of the newer ones.

But, c'mon. It's obvious the two love each other. Because they're angry with one another; the root of all anger is hurt. You don't get hurt and angry at someone you care nothing about. Do you ever notice that if two people are involved in something that makes you mad, you tend to be angrier at the one you're closer to?
Also, it's the same thing with Wata-chan and Doumeki. You don't go and basically sacrifice the freedom of your life (aka, the ability to ditch Fai), and then what was previously your meaning to life (aka, the ability to fight. Though I'm sure Kuro-byon would be a good fighter without the arm). There's some other stuff, but those are the obvious ones.
