I have the series, movie, and shounen manga series. The only thing I need now is the Shoujo manga series which I like a TON better then the Shounen version.
I found the movie ok... it is not really like the original series but it was not TOO bad. I am a fan of the series but I thought it got pretty screwed up near the end though I did like the fact that the main character is a nut job and a half. She makes Dilliando look sane.

The movie was way better than the series.
I liked the animation style, the plot, the characters' personalities. . . hell, it was just better! 3nodding
That's my opinion, anyway.

I started reading the manga and the first volume was okay, the second volume was bad but it ended at a bad place, and the third volume was good, but the manga series just didn't appeal to me. But I've never seen the anime, but it looks great.
