I remember when I first cam out to someone...I made the mistake of telling a friend who was an Uber-devout (SP?) christian, and she told me that; I was a waste of a human life, I needed to go see a psychiatrist, and that if I didn't "repent" I was going to hell... needless to say, we haven't spoken much since...

Who you came out to, why?
What did they say to you? was it a pos. or neg. expiriance?
What kind of person, do you think, is the best to come-out to?

I've come out to a lot of people. Parents, friends, and co-workers. I try to be as open as I can safely. It's good to come out, but I wouldn't go around telling people that you'd know it would rub them the wrong way.
