Well, there actually is an "other anime" forum here, so I'd actually think this would probably belong more there, but...
If you like weird stuff, I'd recomend The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I heart it.

Lets see...Other than the obvious....Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin....and I can' think of anymore sweatdrop

Someone just recently introduced me to Full Metal Panic! It's like mecha/romantic-ish comedy or something. Then there's the second season (series?) of it, which is absolute hilarious crack.
