Heilsan Einarr ok Allir, Well, we in the deep south xd celebrated Ostara/Freyjablot today. We had a good gathering of folk in the Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens. Our Gyðja led the Blot, and a very enjoyable time was had by all. Ver thu heil

you mean the autumn equinox, not "solstice"...
But other than that.. I just spent six hours at work after being up for six hours, cleaning house.. so yeah.. Only going to do a little minor thing before bed..
Thank the gods that our religion is the only one where there's a text reference to, "it's better not to worship, than to go overboard with it"... (Hávamál)

I suppose I'd rather try and help pepole do things right rather than to watch them c**k up somehow and never know.. I love autumn, love the colours and the change in the winds.. it's beautiful and comfortable and nice. I think I'll be doing a lunar ritual next full moon, just for the heck of it.

I love fall and winter, winter especially. I have severe mold allergies, which makes spring and summer hell for me most of the time. Only thing saving me is that we live next to a lake and I think the constant moisture in the air buffers it a little. Some days I just wish for everything to freeze over, die, and stay that way. xp
3nodding I'd be perfectly content with a perpetual winter.
My only other allergies are food allergies: eggs & dairy, and certain meds with sulfa in them (all of which are a 3 on a scale of 1-3, lucky me). Which is why I'm vegan and actually partly why I was originally drawn to Ull. The mix of being both a god of winter and agriculture is a wonderfully unique one. heart
