::The mini-Vale::If you visit the far corner of the companion field, you'll see a strange view. Where once was only grass, now grows a little forest, accompanied with a group of bushes, and other plants. The trees aren't that close to each other, so companions or even gryphons won't have trouble going between them. On most of the trees you can see strange, round houses, the famous tayledras ekele. And on the ground, accompanied with decorative stones, flowers and other plants, there are many hot-, cold-, and middle-temperature springs, where you can take a break after a hard day's work. Yes, everything was arranged perfectly for the visit of tayledras ambasadors.

Brightwind and Tyson returned to the Mini Vale. There was a lot going on out in Valdemar today but they only seemed to be in the way. For now the best place for them would be right here at home. Brightwind got off Tyson's back and took off his special saddle. She then carefully groomed him so that he appeared never to have been ridden. Tyson didn't really care so much about appearences but Brightwind loved her Dyheli friend and wanted to anything she could for him. Knowing this Tyson gently nuzzled the young Tayledras affecionately before wandering off to get his graze on. Brightwind watched her friend go and stretched slowly. In the process she suddenly realized that she stank...like deer. Eeew! Of to the hot springs for her. In a short time Brightwind was stripped of her clothes and up to her chin in hot water. Now this is where she belonged.

Featherfire wasn't far off from where Brightwind was bathing. The Tayledras Scout was repeatedly launching her Kestrel hawk, Shey'n, into the air, despit the hawks wishes not to be. Finely, The bird gave up and instead of returning to his bondmates arm, he settled for a branch out of her reach.
"Aw! Shey'n!! Come back!"
:: No. You throw me away. I stay here. Tree not throw me. ::
"Party pooper. We're practicing! COme back, make a dramatic entrance!"
The Russet Kestrel Hawk tilted his head to teh side curiously :: Dramaticly? ::
"Like WOOSH! to make people go 'OOOH!!' okay?"
Shey'n twittered a little to himself, contemplating this. He wasn't a show bird; he was very plain in comparison to other bond birds, like a mages. He wasnt 'showy' or 'dramatic'. What did she want from him? :: Okay. :: He spread his wings to their fullest length, then dropped out of the tree with a scream. THe hawk beat his wings once hard, both his talons outstretched and he caught hold of his bond mates outstretched wrist, digging his talons deep into the leather as he settled, folding his wings. :: That? ::
Featherfire giggled and hugged her bird "Perfect! That was brilliant!"

Brightwind had been soaking peacefully in a hot spring. Her eyes were shut and s he was enjoying the peace. Then some damn bird screamed right by her startling her out of her meditative state. She'd grown up around bondbirds but sometimes they could still surprise someone.
She muttered something unkind about said bird and mindspoke to her bondbird, the crow, Aiko.
::Who the heck was that?::
::Flashy Kestral. Scout bird.::
::Just great. Do you think you can get rid of it? It's too noisy.::
There was a moment pause as the crow contemplated the situation.
::Bondmate there. I try::
Soon Brightwind heard lots of cawing as Aiko flew around the kestral. Then he began to pull his favorite trick of dropping pebbles and other small objects on his target. Brightwind groaned and covered her ears. She meant for Aiko to make it quieter. This was not what she had in mind at all.

(( LOL Shey'n will eat Aiko xD ))
Featherfire had been in teh middle of praising her bondbird, when that pesky black thing, that crow decided to show up. She cursed loudly in tayledras and tried to shout the thing away, but Aiko refused, and started dropping STONES on them! "Arrgh! Shey'n!"
The kestrel jumped from his bondmates arm, dodged a falling rock as he rose higher, and started circling the general area. :: Stop, Stop! Crow! Hurt bonded, Shey'n will eat you! :: he made a dive, in an attempt to scare the crow away, even though Aiko was larger than he was. Well, Shey'n still had talons!!

Aiko was pleased to hear the irriation from his targets. But then the Kestral was going into an attack manuver. Time to retreat. He winged back through the canopy to land next to Brightwind where he settled down as if he was never up to mischief.
::Aiko in trouble::
::Trouble?::
::Bad bird try to attack Aiko::
Brightwind sighed.
::Human mad, too::
::Human?!::
Aiko looked please. ::Got human and bird!::
Brightwind muttered some colorful things. She had a lot of explaining to do now. She pulled herself out of the hotspring and looked around for some clothes. Did they have hertasi here? She couldn't remember.

Shey'n nestled back onto his bonded's arm, talons scratching at the leather of her wrist guard as Featherfire scratched at his head with a finger. "Did you see where that pain went?"
The kestrel hawk bobbed his head in a nod :: Left :: he mindsent, and glared in that direction with a quiet hawkish chirp. He was going to have Crow tonight! How did bondbird taste, anyway?
Featherfire started in the direction pointed out by Shey'n, careful to balance the bird on her wrist without dropping him. She broke through the trees, glared, and then noticed Brightwind and he glare disapeared.
Shey'n hissed at the sight of Aiko :: That him! Eat! Eat! ::
:: Calm down, featherhead. :: she mumbled to her over-eager hawk. "Your crow's a pain, nearly got himself eaten."

Brightwind sighed audibly.
Aye - that's my fault. I heard you practicing and I was trying to relax. I was hoping he would lure your bird to a different area...but I forget how annoying he can be to others. I'm kinda used to it.
BW finally noticed the nearby stack of towels and made herself a makeshift dress.
Did he cause any damage?

"No, just irritating, like you said. Shey'n gets so ruffled at the littelest things mind you." He scratched at the hawks head to calm him down, and it worked for the most part. "We didn't mean to be loud at all, sorry. Heard something about a festival? i dont know much, but there was mention of Tayledras shows so we were trying to discover new ways to impress the Valdemarans."

BW rolled her eyes.
Good luck. She said ruefully. They are getting harder and harder to impress. It's kind of sad when we are becoming an everyday sight for them.

"Thats true, and thats why we're practicing. Im trying to get Shey'n to stoop low enough to borrow some things from a few valdemarans, so they have no choice but to come see my act, to get their stuff back." enter mischevious grin here.
Shey'n lowered himself into a poof on his bondeds arm. he wasnt going to steal stuff for her! :: no. ::

Brightwind brightened at the idea.
Aiko is good at stealing stuff! He does it all the time! We should team up. Aiko can be his pesty self and then draw the people to you and Shey'n. What'cah think?

Featherfire pet Shey'n's back, trying to get him to calm down a little. "That sounds like the perfect plan! It didn't look like i was getting anywhere with my thick headed bondbird."
:: Stupid Bondmate. :: :: Hush you pridefull bird. ::
"I'm Featherfire K'Vala, and my kestrel, Shey'n. And you?"

"Would i ever!" She 'threw' Shey'n into the air, and her bondbird flew his way to a branch in the trees above, and perched. Featherfire started to strip immediately, and slipped into the hotspring pool as soon as she was de-clothed.
