What do y'all think of this game so far? I think it's got some pretty decent potential, although, I'm not impressed by marketing for it so far. Seriously...."Letting Bodies Hit the Floor"? http://www.renegadekid.com/games.htm

Hmm it seems like an ok game. I think the whole "trapped in a hospital with monsters" theme is kind of old. Or maybe i just play too must Silent Hill...

I want it, simply because I'm a horror addict o.o
Well, I also think it's great they're stretching a horror title to a platform I actually own. Granted I have the new gen to play at my boyfriends house >w>
And it DOES look good for a DS game in my opinion. I'm not a fan of FPS horror games, but it's hard having a 3rd person view one on the DS, just look at the RE remake for it.
I think what I really enjoy is the sound input they have. If something is to your right, you hear it from the right, it's very interesting.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/26059.htmlDefinitely a better step in the right direction as far as their ads go. The live-action part after the guns and bullets thing still looks REALLY cheap, and they probably shouldn't have even bothered with that.....

I played a game with that idea once. It was called Insanitarium and was good.

This looks like to be a worthy survival horror game for the DS for once. smile

I got this game from a friend who got fed up with the lack of story/character development and a general feel of I don't know why this stuff is happening. So she gave it to me, because really how bad could it be. You don't know your character's name and don't even get to see what he looks like till the end of the game. There are short movie bits throughout the game that really don't help to explain things, they only seem to make more questions. So for most of the game I kept telling myself that the ending is going to be a big payoff and it will all make perfect sense . . . I was completely WRONG. Some of the monsters were hard as hell (last boss and the banshees), but non really freaked me out. Also when you died you automatically had to start the chapter you were playing over again, it got to the point where I would see I was about to die and I would shut off the system and start from my last save. But for all the things that got me angry/confused about the game it's hard for me to say that I hated it, since I had invested the time and effort into beating it (and so I had bragging rights to my friend since I finished it and she couldn't.) The first person view played much better than I though it would on the DS and the weapon assortment was a very nice mix.
I do think the marketing people went a little far in comparing it to the Silent Hill series, but it was successful ploy because I saw that and went "I like Silent Hill, I should play that game!" If you have the time and patience to play it then go for it but just don't expect a big payoff at the end like I did.
And by all means if you have played it and understood the game better than I did please fill me in on what I missed!

I'm stuck at the fat guy after you get the shot gun -_-
Anyways my biggest beef with what I've seen so far is the controls, thats about it. Its soo uncomfortable.... and that you can't wield a flash light and weapon at the same time >_<

If I remember correctly I just stood by the wall and the game glitched and it allowed me to shoot him without him hitting me back. Your game might be able to do that too..
