Alright, I solved my older problem already...so now I have a question about word tattoos. I plan on getting song lyrics tattooed on my inner wrist, but I'm wondering how that will age. Will it eventually become completely unreadable, because I've seen some word tattoos like that (however, those could have just been a bad tattoo job). Thanks to anyone who replies.

tattooing now isn't what tattooing was in the 50s. The inks are incredible, the machines are finer and the amount of skill that goes into tattooing in general now has improved to an incredible amount.
So, you could have a lyrical tattoo thats readable for a lifetime. Good thing you mentioned a bad artist, because they'd give ya a tattoo that you could read for about a year. crying
Be careful with lettering in such a small space. You don't want it to be cramped. If there's a lot to be said, somewhere like the chest or the ribs would be an awesome spot to get a lyric.

I want it on my wrist, but my wrist isn't even 2 inches across. But, I'm only getting 7 words and I don't want it all on one row. I have until December to figure this out, so it should be alright. I just wanted to make sure those words would be readable for a long time, especially since the lyric is very important to me. So, now that I know that I'm happy. cool

Get either a short phrase on your wrist, or a long one somewhere else. Don't cram it.

I agree...you really don't want to cram something in a small space, especially when it comes to lettering.
My lettering tattoo is still readable, but in a few years it might not be...and it was because the tattoo artist wasn't very experienced. Right now it's kinda fuzzy, but you can clearly make out what it says. Just make sure you go to someone who knows what they're doing, and don't get the letters too small or else they'll run together over time.

Actually, right now the tattoo is on hold until my financial situation is figured out. (got in a car accident, things are all screwed up now).
So, eventually I'll get this tattoo. I guess this just gives me more time to plan it, which is always good.

Instead of getting it acroos your wrist couldn't you get it up and down. Like inside elbow to wrist instead.

Chittyco1 Instead of getting it acroos your wrist couldn't you get it up and down. Like inside elbow to wrist instead. Yea, actually that is my plan now. I've been using a sharpie to write the words in different places, trying to see what looks perfect to me.
