Some scholars believe that early burial rituals were meant not so much to honor the dead as to prevent their spirits from wreaking havoc on the living. Certainly, the ghost has a strong pedigree. Chilling, troublesome, or outright vengeful, they can be found anywhere where the living are intimately familiar with death.
Members of the Shade Clan tend to be stubborn and calculating. When they form a tie with something or someone, they seldom break that connection.
