Though the term “Seelie court” is Scottish, the tales of these faeries come from all countries. They are the helpers of mankind, the kind faces in the wild. But that does not mean that they cannot be fearsome if they feel themselves wronged. Despite being known for playing tricks on mortals, their pranks are mostly harmless, and they may reward a human who shows a good sense of humor. They love the good in mankind and cannot stand ugliness or poor manners.

Members of the Seelie Court tend to be playful, graceful, and wise. They love merriment.
