Imagine you've fallen asleep one night, only to not wake up in the morning. You aren't dead, but not quite sure you're alive. You have been summoned into a dream, a dream going on in many a victums' heads. While your body lies motionless back in bed, you wander through the vast lands of the dream, they can be anything.
While you are on your way, you meet up with other people around the world, or even ones from right next door. You mingle and find that this world is all to strange, with the creatures, plants, and buildings. No one knows how to escape, and there might not be a way.

Mayna went to bed furious. She slammed the door behind her, crying to herself. First the cat, now this. She jumped onto her bed, closing her damp eyes. She fell almost instantly into a deep sleep. She found herself falling, falling through pitch blackness. She hated these dreams, but she couldn't wake from thie one.
When the bottom came, she landed as though she had only fallen from a foot, a silent thud and that's it. She opened her eyes and looked around, she saw nothing but a velvety, dark navy, and a few twinkling, white lights in the distance. The night sky.
She felt long, soft grass beneath her. 'Where am I?" She thought to herself. She shook her head and sat up, her head throbbed as she did so. Mayna moaned and felt around a bit.

Naygan sat up, surrounded by what she assumed was grass. "What the-? This isn't my bed!" It looked like she was outside but.. 'I know I went to sleep in a bed. They make sure of it every time they do rounds...' Since her mother's death, she had been living in the asylum, her dad claiming she was crazy and then running off. After many attempts at trying to convince people to let her out, she gave up and acted the part.

Nicholas opened the door to his apartment with a sigh... work had been hell today, even more so than usual. He closed the door behind him and kicked off his shoes, they landed with dull thuds that echoed through out the small, quiet apartment. He didn't feel like going through bills or returning any calls... he just couldn't bring himself to care much anymore. He went to his bathroom and got an item or two before coming back to the main room and sitting on the couch. He turned on the t.v. and found a good show before he opened the cap of pills, swallowing them all he washed it down with an already open can of beer on the table, probably left over from last night... and to make sure the job would be done, he slashed his wrists with a blood stained kitchen knife he kept on the table. He soon nodded off as he kept watching his t.v. program.
He felt like he was drowning... darkness engulfed him like a crushing sea of ink. He felt himself hit, what he assumed what was ground of some kind before falling forward as his legs gave out. He felt grass below him and briefly wondered if he had died yet and this was a purgatory of some kind...

Mayna felt helpless she sat back on her knees and placed a hand on her forhead. She felt like screaming, but when she opened her mouth, nothing came out but a silent whisp of whistling air. She closed her eyes, relaxing for a moment. When she opened them, she found a hint of pink coming over the horizon. She shrugged and found sitting up easier, not as painful. "Hmm?" She stood almost right away, like a force had pulled her. She saw other bodies lieing on the ground beside her, obviously they had not had a good fall. Mayna shuddered and began to walk a bit, heading into a large feild of prickily grass. "Damnit!" She shook herself free of the plants and turned around, to see a large beast following her. A loud scream escaped her lips, where had it been before?
Mayna stood awestruck, the beast advanced on her, she fell back with an 'Umph.'

Naygan heard a scream and stood up above the grass, seeing a girl and the beast that was after her. Running at it, she rammed into it sideways, not knowing if she could move it or not. "Back off, Ugly. She doesn't like you..."

Mayna looked slightly puzzled. She didn't know this person, how could she be in her dream? The beast ran off shrieking, it was in fact, very shy. "Who... who are you?" She said a bit rudely.

Grinning after the beast, she looked at the other girl. "My name's Naygan.." She looked around. "Where are we?"

Mayna looked protective for a moment. "I've never heard of you. I think this is some sort of..." She really had no idea what was going on, she sat on the ground thinking.

Nicholas had been laying on the ground for a long time. Then finally, with a small groan, he pushed himself up to his knees before finally sitting up and looking around... grass... morning... his wrists hurt, he felt like crap... he sure as hell wasn't dead... but where was he then? He kept looking around over the grass, thinking he saw two other people...

"Why would you know who I am? You shouldn't.." She was smiling. Finally, she was out of that cursed place. No one believed her there. They all thought she was insane.

Nicholas stood up, very sure he heard a voice now. He felt immediatly dizzy though when he stood up and his wrists started hurting even more.

Mayna looked very confused. "Well, the last thing I did was go to bed, so I figured this was a dream...." How could it be anything else? It couldn't, unless she had died in her sleep.

Nicholas walked, dizzy and unsteadily to where he was sure he heard the voices "Hello?" he called, his vioce sounding a little strange to him.
