OMG! I literally did the Commercial Pee just so I wouldn't miss a thing. That was wow. Okay, time for a recap:

well this is just an assumption but i think molly dreams about the bad guy from the last generation of heroes.

eh! i thought this episode was a bit lack luster... but, yeah, it's nice to get all of the theories rolling out again.
as for maya and (what the hell was that guy's name..) i think they have odd twin powers... like, she might have the darker set of 'em and what not.
oh man.. as for that one guy that was with claire, i thought he was peter in disguise but i dunno how that would have worked lol. but, yey! she'll have a boyfriend ^__^ as for her dad... it's like "erm... okay, i know that guy was getting on his nerves but..."
i think the monster that keeps haunting molly's dreams might be a woman o-o; that one woman that was with sylar in the tease for the season. i don't know why but i'm like, hesitant about this coming season.
it was kinda viewable that hiro's hero might wind up being himself and the fact that the legendary guy turned out to be a gaijin (foreigner for those who don't know what it is) is kinda stupid x.x
i was shocked to see that both nathan and matt lost their families in the process of those four months. and nathan's mom is really evil x.x and i do wonder what the main.. what were they, 11? 13? i wonder what they were and their purposes were x.x
you know, i wasn't expecting hiro's dad to die x.x i don't know who i expected to be killed cuz i had heard the rumors that one of the main people of the show would be killed off my this episode.
nyar. i'm tired of the whole nikki storyline tho x.x it's pointless but i guess we gotta go on with it x.x
peter looks hot. lol. end of comments for me =3

It looks like Peter and Nathan's mom might die too, since she also had her picture with the symbol drawn on it. But I agree with Aoi and the fact that Nathan and Matt's family literally just fell apart. I mean honestly, at the end of the first season, I was under the impression that Matt would go back to his wife after he recovered and get ready for their baby. And Nathan would do like he said and lead the people as a Congressman. But now Matt lives in New York with Molly and Suresh and Nathan is a drunk? Now I sort of see Peter being similar to Ando; Peter has always been there for his brother, but when he's gone, Nathan just isn't quite who he appeared to be. And when we see Hiro without Ando in the future, he changes as well.
Also, wtf is with Kensei? And if Hiro hadn't appeared there, would he have actually saved the town like Hiro had said? I dunno, I have a lot of questions, and I can't wait to see how they're answered.

Personally I LOVED this episode (hi btw, am Marra) but that could be due to me missing the show so much over the summer.
I remember reading somewhere that Kensei was the man Molly is seeing, and that his power is controlling insects. Does that mean that Hiro accidentally brings him to the future and then he runs off, etc? I found the whole Kensei plot so far very entertaining.
I enjoyed seeing what happened to Claire and HRG, and how she is now actually contacting Nathan to talk, when at the end of last season she just wanted to get away from him. I suppose because he saved everyone her feelings toward him changed. I don't remember though, do Lyle and Mrs. Bennet know everything? or did they forget again? I couldn't tell. Also, I don't think Noah was over reacting at work. I mean, he's under so much pressure, and he's taken a job that is so under his skill level, but he has to act like everythings normal. I would have snapped too. I applauded.
I can't wait to find out who "them" is. Is it The Company? or are those people, Hiro's dad, and Mr. Petrelli, and Angela, and Linderman, etc the company? Or are they two sects of the same group that broke apart?
I really enjoyed this episode and how it introduced many themes for the new season!!

well, poor hiro did wind up "breaking the past" as it is. i think it was because of that incident when he saved the fake kensei... maybe he wasn't supposed to do that and that way something could have been done. or maybe, he was supposed to land somewhere closer to the village or something. but the main fact is that he was supposed to have been there before (huzzah for time traveling messing with my mind).
agreeing with marra: ooh.. that one theory about kensei is very interesting! i can see it working.. maybe him just latching on to hiro and then.. well, we would see in the rest of the season no? hehe. now i'm really looking forward to seeing who the villain will be.
agreeing with meteors: yeah! i was actually looking forward to nathan screwing over the country one way or another and for matt to go on and have a happy life. i mean, what? did he just leave the family because he had to help out molly? and what are his plans with suresh?
*mind spins* hurrah for heroes lol

hhhmmm...those theories are very interesting, I'll have to watch the episode again! I was just so amazed by the whole thing I don't think I even thought about anythign else....but there was one thing. When they showed Peter at the end (without a shirt) he was wearing the necklace that the hatian (I forget his real name) had...so they obviously met at some point and maybe after seeing the previews for next week, maybe its those Irish guys that gives Peter that scar he had from the future episode last season.

hnn.. yeah, i did notice the necklace too... and it's a good point that maybe something happened there...
as to his scar, i doubt he would get it from something as petty as a scuffle with the irishmen... and if he does get it from them, that'll be lame. cuz, he does have the power to heal so yeah...

Okay, time for the Chaos theory to begin.
>Irishmen: Irish gang led by Blackie (announced as an irish mobster who's 1000 years old). Peter will be used for some crimes in order to get his identity back, or Blackie will Munipulate him.
>Kensei: I don't think he has powers, just a bum who was acting as a legendary swordsman. Hiro will be the Kensei. (Think about that for a second and it all makes sence).
>Nathan: After Linderman died, he had no backing and lost the election. Thus, he seperates himself from his family b/c he feels responsible for Peter's death (hence the image of Peter all jacked up).
>Claire & Wes: Interesting relationship. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Wes's powers are that like a ghost's. (I.e. he can fly, phase and become transparent). Claire will not be discovered, but from what I understand, there is yet another Hero among them. ^_^
>HRG: Will continue to be himself and help Mohinder take down the company until he is discovered.
>Maya (and her brother who no one remembers): Major political stand point. Interesting Idea taking a current event and making it a major point of a drama. I noticed all of her victums have their eyes missing. A friend suggested she can glow (light so bright it melts the eyes), but I think she is the one who controls insects. She makes references to God's Punishment, so I'm guessing a plague of some sort.

The bomb has not gone off. We saw the first coming of the bomb, but not the actual events. New York will fall. Gabe will get Claire. The world will be screwed. Maybe....

But didn't Nathan already win the election? Although maybe Linderman's death did effect what happened to Nathan afterwards since they both knew each other, and Linderman was always the one giving major funding for Nathan's campaign.
And maybe it's just me, but I assumed DL died, sometime right after the last episode to the new one. The only reason I say this is because DL isn't in any of the ads I've seen in magazines for the show. They even have Ando in at least one of them, and we don't even know if he has a power. Of course, I could be wrong, since we haven't even heard from Niki and Micah in the show yet.
Oh yeah: Unless Peter has forgotten how to use his powers, why didn't he escape from where he is? After all, he can fly, turn invisible, has super strength, telekenesis, etc.

I can't help, but feel lefted out. I know it's nice to have new characters, but I really wanted to know what happened to Sylar and Nikki/DL/Micah.
At first I didn't really think that Alejandro had any powers, but I guess he has to something to keep Maya's death ability in check.
Lol, at Noah working at Copy Kingdom. I just find it funny that he's working with "paper" again.
And yes, like some other people said, it's odd that Nathan/Matt's lives just falls apart. I know that Nathan feels bad about what happened to Peter, but he won the election, didn't he? Maybe he stepped down. I always thought that Mohinder would take care of Molly.
Hiro's supposed to be Kensei. That loser was probably never going to save the town.
I have a feeling that the bad guy who Molly is afraid of has something in connection with The Company. Also who was that person that killed Hiro's dad?

I have a feeling we'll meet up with those four in the next episode. Remember in season one we didn't meet Matt until second episode, and they probably wanted to introduce some new characters first, before going back to all the older ones. That's what I think.
But if Hiro really is Kensei, that means he'll have to kill himself, eventually. gonk
