I just thought I'd bring this up because of how awesome it is. So today was the first day of class. I tried to get into Japanese but it was full up, no luck. I'm thinking, "what class will take me? II need to be registered for SOMETHING by the end of the week and if I don't get sixteen credits I lose my financial aid!" Lightbulb goes off in my buddy's head. "Why don't you do a contract with Jim?" Now, Jim is the comic books professor at our college, though we call it "sequential art" or "visual narrative" to slip under the dean's radar. A contract is an individual study project that I can do on my own for credit, with a professor sponsoring it. And since I've taken his class several times before and he knows me, Jim said yes. So. This quarter. For full credit. I have to draw, ink, tone, and ready for publication one chapter of a comic book. Easiest A of my life! I'm floating on a cloud of happiness, now! XD
