I've read about three of her books so far, and they were all pretty good. I was wondering if anyone else has read any of them.
I've read Archangel, Mystic and Rider, and Summers at Castle Auburn. I think Summers at Castle Auburn is my favorite. I plan to read the rest of each of the series that I've started, though, 'cause I did like those books. Archangel took a while ot get into, but once I did I liked it a lot.

I love Sharon Shinn. I've only read the Samaria books, but there is something so comforting about curling up with one of her books... just a nice easy read.
I'll definitely have to check out her other books

I just got The Alleluiah Files (or however the title's spelled) and The Thirteenth House today. I'll probably get to them sometime this week, but I have like 2 other books that I want to read first. I hope they're as good as the other books that I read by her.

So, I've read a few more of her books since I made this thread, and I have to say that I do like her books. The major issue I have with them is that the storylines are retty similar. Girl/guy falls in love; said girl/guy has some sort of problem over the girl/guy they've fallen in love with (say, the girl hates the guy, or the girl is locked in a convent); some strange thing happens where the girl/guy returns the love of the other; come problem happens; the problem is overcome; happily ever after. That, and the characters of different genders all act kinda similar, which makes it kinda hard to tell the books apart. n.n" 'Though, all that said, her writing is good enough that I don't really notice those things until I'm not reading the book.
So far, I liked Summers at Castle Auburn best. The characters are better, I think. I still have two more Samaria books to read, though, and Reader and Raelynx. I'd really like to read more of her stand-alone books, but most of them aren't in print anymore or something.
