~: Quote Love :~ Do you love quotes? Ones about life, broken hearts, love. Ones that inspire you or motivate you. Well, I know I do, and I thought that it would be great to have one big place for quotes everyone loves. I have a xanga site (I don't know if you've heard of the places or not) with TONS of quotes. I'll give you the link so you can visit, enjoy, and collect. :] Be careful though, at least, when I click the link it loads my site onto the current page, so no new page pops up. http://www.xanga.com/x0Love_Quotes_Laugh0xI'd love to use some of the ones you guys post on here for my site. Of course I'll give credit. If you know who made the quote your posting ... well that's even better! But, if ya do or if ya don't really isn't a big deal. Thank you ^^ Basically, you can gather up your favorite quotes and post them, or if you've always had a quote close to you, share it! I'll have a place for my absolute favorite quotes that you guys post right in here:
Quote: In this quote box, but we have to get some quotes posted first! If you want me to put a quote in this box, I'd be happy to add it, just ask.
So please, come and share your quotes!
Also, if you have an icons you adore, then just post that too. I'll make another quote box for icons if it's needed. {I love icons :] } Come on guys, post, collect, and share; long live the Quotes thread!

Bump <33
{ + ...Because sometimes you have something you need to say but you can't, because the words won't come out or you get scared or you feel stupid, so, if you could write a song, and sing it, then you could say what you need to say and it would be beautiful and people would listen and you wouldn't make a complete idiot out of yourself, but, all of us can't be songwriters so some of us will never be able to say what we're thinking or what we want other people to know we're thinking so we'll never get the chance to make things right again... ~ Gilmore Girls (Rory) }

"Every minute my joy increased... because I found myself in an extraordinary state of the most complete invulnerability, such as I had never before experienced. Nothing at all could confuse me, annoy me or tire me. Whatever was being thought of by those men, conversing animatedly in another corner of the room, I would regard them calmly, from a distance they could not cross." --Vera Zasulick, after her assassination of General Trepov, governor of St. Petersburg

Dorothy Parker I don't care what is written about me so long as it isn't true. Dorothy Parker I might repeat to myself slowly and soothingly, a list of quotations beautiful from minds profound - if I can remember any of the damn things Dorothy Parker If all the girls who attended the Yale prom were laid end to end, I wouldn't be a bit surprised Dorothy Parker The best way to keep children home is to make the home atmosphere pleasant--and let the air out of the tires. Dorothy Parker This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force. Dorothy Parker That would be a good thing for them to cut on my tombstone: Wherever she went, including here, it was against her better judgment. Dorothy Parker The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity Dorothy Parker I'm never going to be famous. My name will never be writ large on the roster of Those Who Do Things. I don't do any thing. Not one single thing. I used to bite my nails, but I don't even do that any more Dorothy Parker Money cannot buy health, but I'd settle for a diamond-studded wheelchair Dorothy Parker It serves me right for keeping all my eggs in one b*****d. Dorothy Parker Heterosexuality is not normal, it's just common. Dorothy Parker You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think. Dorothy Parker He (Robert Benchley) and I had an office so tiny that an inch smaller and it would have been adultery.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Quote: "The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: "If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?" But... the good Samaritan reversed the question: "If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?" Mohandas Karamchand GandhiQuote: "There is a beauty and an art in simplicity which he who runs may see." Quote: "The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically... Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education." Quote: "The future depends on what we do in the present." John RuskinQuote: "What we think or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only thing of consequence is what we do." Ralph Waldo EmersonQuote: "Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. " Robert FrostQuote: "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on. " xd Right now I'm trying to make a compisition of qoutes from a good friend of mine. "The Sad Monk" And no he is not here on Gaia.

{ Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry... } Ooh, I have some good ones that I put in the Quotes section of my Facebook. Also, take a look at my font. It indeed has a quote by Albus Dumbledore.
Gerard Way “If for one minute you think you're better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day t-shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn't know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about.”
Dark Helmet from Spaceballs "So, Lone Starr, now you know that evil always wins, because good is dumb."
Albert Einstein "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."
Jules de Gaultier "Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality." { ... but why on Earth should that mean it is not real? }

Mine are usually funny... and I really don't have anyone to cite, having collected these over the years from other people's signatures... Quote: Those who think anything is possible have never tried slamming a revolving door. Quote: Rebel against non-conformatism! Quote: Is it just me, or is the word psychological an oxymoron? (think about that last one... you'll get it eventually) Quote: Most boys are like lava lamps; fun to watch, but not too bright. Quote: Sticks and stones might break your bones, but trees and boulders are plotting against you. Quote: Sticking crayons up your nose will give you colorful imagination. Quote: If Con is opposite of Pro, Then Congress must be the opposite of Progress Quote: I defy your reality and substitute my own!! Now that one is from Mythbusters Quote: "Wouldn't what?" I smiled innocently at him. "Castrate you, throw you in a pit of hungry boars and then pour oil all over the pit and set it on fire, and then take your ashes, and soak them in oil, and then burn it again?!" ~Riley xd

I'm only going to quote myself for now: Quote: The light at the end of my tunnel broke. Can I get a new one? Quote: If all the world's a stage, then I wish not to be the star but the writer who wrote it.

Dr. Seuss: Quote: Be who you are and say what you feel, for those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Anonymous: Quote: Anyone who thinks sunshine is happiness has never danced in the rain.

I'm not sure who said this one. Quote: "Tears are the words the heart cannot say" This one was said by Till Lindemann of Rammstein. Quote: "Love is like a flower; even the most beautiful kind dies."
