There are several conventions in the area. When I say area, I mean within a 6 hour drive.
SoGen Oct. 5 - 7, 2007
Anime Reactor Nov. 2 - 4, 2007
Anime Milwaukee Feb. 8 - 10, 2008
No Brand Con April 2008?
Anime Detour April 4 - 6, 2008
Anime Central May 16 - 18, 2008
Otaku Omaha June 2008
Kakkoi con Minneapolis Aug. 1 - 3, 2008
Anime Iowa Aug 15- 17, 2008
We are considering offering to provide rooms and take some people with to some of these.
Currently we are thinking about Anime Central, Anime Detour, Kakkoi con
Does anyone have preferences of other cons they may like to go to?

OOHIO con! Joel I really want to go to ohio con. It has a great name. I am not loaded, but I may be able to pull some money out. If you are sending out a booth to ohio con, tell me so I am not alone. Alone is scary.

Definetly gunna be at Detour and more then likely gunna be at ACEN.
Any reviews about YoumaCon? I'll be going for the first time this year.

We will deffinitly be at Ohayocon. It is one of our favorite cons. We generally do not take people to that con, because it is so far away. However if you need a ride, you can check with me next month and we will know what our situation will be.
We were planning on going to Yomacon this year. It would have been our first year also. However after the van incident, we had to cancel that trip.
I hear it is a pretty fun con. People talk about it all the time.

Well, I also really want to go to acen. Oh! I am concidering a convention style blog or story or internets doohicky. I dont know how the interweb works but could we post the final project on the eagle website?

There really isn't anything I know of in ND. The closest one I know of is Sogen is Souix Falls, SD. That is in late September.
We will be going there also.
I think ND should get a con.

Actually I have not updated the convention schedule recently. There are a lot of conventions happening in Sept.
However only 1 is in our area.
let's see
We are going to
Anime Fest Dallas, Tx 8/30 - 9/1
Realmscon, tx 9/8 - 9/10
Nan Desu Kon, Co 9/15 - 9/17 (this is a drive but it is an excellent con)
Sogen, SD 9/29 - 9/31 (this is only a 5 hour drive).
So Sept. is a busy month also.

I will definitely be going to detour and/or kakkoi con. Both if I can afford it. XD The others for me are a maybe. So the next eagle event is when?SOmeone told me but I forgot...
