OK, we all know that Elizabeth Beenet is mostly everyone's fav. heroine. But if you could pick one of the men, who would it be? I haven't read all of Jane's books, so I can't really do a poll on it yet. But seriously, who would you want to have? cool And Piro found this interesting little survey (with men involved...of course smile ) check it out! Since this is the Fav. Male Thread: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/austen/menofausten.html This might be found interesting to the occupants of this guild.

I don't know - it's a tossup between Col. Brandon and Mr. Darcy. Although I do love Mr. Bingley as well. *sigh* Decisions, decisions!

Why don't more people like Mr. Knightly or Captain Wentworth? But I suppose I must be glad that no one has even mentioned Mr. Wickham or Mr. Willoughby. Or. . .Ha! Mr. Collins! Edit: Wow, I just saw the post that was written before I wrote mine. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised that some of us Jane Austin fans think similarly. . .

xcoffee_monsterx AHHH Mr. Collins kills my soul. I am not sorry at all to say that i have a thing for Mr. Darcy as well. Mr. Collins steps on the souls of small butterflies and other beautiful things. As do all people who say "my small rectory abutts her estate"...Joe Wright (director of 2005 P&P) was right when he said that sounded rude!

Mr Tilney all the way!
No other Austen man quite makes me laugh the same way Mr. Tilney does, and to me a relationhip should always be full with laughter.
Which might be why I tease certain person so much *cough cough*
Oh, to have a Mr. Tilney!

We have a lot of Mr. Collins fans, wink So far, Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy are some of my fav.'s. That's not saying much as I've only read P&P and S&S (sense & sensibility). Is Mr. Tilney from Northanger Abbey? question
