There were no classes today, so most of the mage trainees had gone off somewhere to enjoy themselves. Except Verasute. He was quite content sticking close to teh collegium. Whether that was becuase he was afraid of people, and what they would think, or afraid of his power, and what it would do.

The brown tail thumped hard against the step Vera was sitting on. :: Rrrr.. Quite being such a wuss, Verasute! Get up and go! I need some action! :: Orthrus snapped from somewhere in his mind, startling the boy into almost sitting up.

:: No... There isn't any place to go, besides... i'm tired, so leave me alone... :: He sighed, his left brown kyree ear twitched at that. Ors wasn't happy to be shut out like this. Truley though, Vera was so tired. He barely managed to make it to the steps today, before he'd collapsed on them.

The white tail swished elegantly across teh stone steps. :: Ooh, Ors, leave him alone. He is rather beat... can't you tell? let him rest a bit else he catch a cold... :: Erythiea purred, mentally rubbing her head against Vera's in an affectionate manner.

The brown kyree growled and his mindvoice subsided, burying itself away again so he could pout alone.

Verasute took a dive forewards off the steps, rolled once, and stared over at Roel with his mismatched eyes from where he was perched on teh ground now. All three of his tails were poofed out, and his ears were up and perked forewards. "Wh- Uh.. H-hello..." His voice was low, and his eyes softened when he reconised (kind of) who had snuck up on him.

The feeling of being threatened had passed, and so had whatever adrenalin he'd gotten from it. Now he was tired all over again, and collapsed against the ground, back pressed against grass. "Please.. dont sneak up on me..."

Orthrus was laughing so hard inside his head, it was a hard sound to block out. Apparently, the younglings apparent edginess was very entertaining. It wasnt Vera's fault alot of people avoided him because he was strange!

"No.. i dont suppose i mind." He sideglanced at her, somewhat nervous. People didnt do this. this was almost wrong. But he was to chicken to ask her why she was there.

:: Perhaps.. She likes you Verasute?:: Erythiea giggled, and wiggled in her corner of his mind, making Vera wince visibly. :: Shes cute, you know... ::

:: Shut up, Ery. ::

::Thats right, Erythiea. Dont be stupid. What sort of human would take a liking to Verasute? He's a whelp at best. Me, on teh oth- ::

:: You shut up to, Ors!! ::

"Huh?" Verasute blinked at Roel curiously, then started a faint nervous sounding laughter. "N-no, nothings wrong... just.. a little tired is all..." He growled inwardly at the two other kyree, neither took him seriously. "Wh-what are you reading?"

Vera nodded, somehwat glad that his sibs had taken his advice and shut up. "I'd.. like to read for fun sometimes, but i always fall asleep." He smiled meekly at her "Havent had much energy since i got here."

:: You pansy pup. Shes a willing b***h. get on with it already! ::

:: What!? Orthrus, you raunchy b*****d, keep your mouth shut you're confusing him! ::

Vera twitched again, and actually sighed. His white ear was layed back, while the brown one was perked up at attention. His brown tail was waging back and frth to. :: i hate you both... ::

(( lol i know. they're dogs, thats what they do! xD ))

"H-Healers?" He blinked, somewhat taken back by that. Then he frowned. Verasute remembered Healers Collegium well enough, it was the first thing he COULD remember. He hadn't liked it there, the healers... were to curious, and he was very adamant about hiding his 'condition'. "Oh.. no no." he laughed nervously and shook his head. "No no, i've had enough of them. I.. i... i guess i'm just a little weak. Its hard to work so much..." Yes. that was a good answer.

Orthrus growled a little, shaking his 'head' in disgust, while Erythiea sighed. Maybe she should let Vera get some sleep tonight? ... Nah.

Vera thought about that, but he didnt have an answer. HE didn't, anyways. Erythiea was keeping what she knew to herself. "I.. dont know. I'm not so much weak as i am tired. I sleep at night, and wake up exhausted. Its like i dont sleep at all, but i do." He sighed, and sagged where he sat. All three tails had stilled behind him, except for the odd twitch of the white one.
