went and got my nipples done recently...now, i'm used to tattoos itching. and insofar, all my tattoos have been in low-key itch zones. but i'm NOT used to piercings itching, least of all my nipples! this is driving me crazy! and i can't put anything unsterile on them for a while, considering i just got them - has anyone dealt with this before? any advice? they're healing up just fine but i can't use any moisturizer or anything on them until they're done, and i think the itching is due to dry skin. aaargh!

I have the same problem with mine. The itch like crazy and are the only piercings that I have that are like this. I try to keep mine covered with a waterproof bandage, so I can kind of scratch at them if I absolutely need to for fear of losing my mind. Other than that, I just deal with it.

Don't pull or scratch, smack them, this way you won't accidentaly [sp?] tug the new piercing at all. Try salt soaks and dont be afraid to tap if it itches! :]
